My last QD link was not the link I thought it was , if I find it I will post it, apologies for the out of date link.
GLA
I've always thought an inducement was a bribe.
NOT UNLESS YOUR DONALD TRUMP,,,,LOL. BECAUSE ITS A GREY AREA OF LAW TO BE EXPLOITED.
This is why i believe samsung will want our QD patents
https://www.trustedreviews.com/opinion/quantum-dots-explained-what-they-are-and-why-they-re-awesome-2916068
GLA
If I were to name our winning bidder it would be Samsung.
It's they who are really spearheading a massive revolution into quantum dots for there Tv,s and to bring down the prices for there most expensive TV,s. Our patents and expertise should give them a commanding lead over it's rivals in this technology.
GLA
These FSP on average can take a very long time to conclude .
Let's hope we break through the 20p Mark very soon.
GLA
Yes some payments are acceptable between both parties at certain stages during the formal fsp, but strictly not to induce any participants to illegally start off any FSP , and as you stated these are to compensate either party should the FSP FAIL. It's similar to a poision pill insurance policy.
GLA
You stated,,,,,,it's even possible that nanoco's paid inducement fees to participants,
you really can't make a statement like that, seriously it's highly illegal, nanoco could haul you into court saying that, and I would be there all expenses paid witness, LOL
They are your actual words as below, not mine, !
SERIOUSLY IT'S ONLY A BIT OF BANTER, SLEEP WELL, AND GOOD NIGHT. GLA
Unless it’s a equal merger. GLA
If someone buys another company it’s classified as a takeover no matter what way you cut it. GLA
Another thing we’re did I state we were in a formal takeover period, that came from you not me. !!!
GLA
We all know the sales process was started by nanoco, but was it because interested parties were knocking at their door first, that’s my whole point.
They then are nearly bound by corporate governess to initiate that sales process.
GLA
Also it could be highly illegal to suggest that nanocos BOD offered inducements to any third party to start a sales process for the company. That’s very misleading to share holders and highly illegal.
Don’t worry my mouth is firmly shut , LOL GLA
Also no one knows for sure who initiated this sales process, after nanoco were approached, or before they were approached? I strongly suspect it was after they had approaches , which means it wasn’t
Initially thought up by nanocos BOD, but they were forced to start the sales process to maximise shareholder value.
GLA Great to see investors are doing there homework. LOL, GLA
Correction the FSP could also end with multiple Separate offers from several participants for different parts of the company. And even then they could all individually own the company as a private company, or keep the listing as new large shareholders, it’s also misleading to state otherwise.
GLA
Just remember something that's very important , Nanoco's BOD, have received high enough initial offers for them to escort several of our suitors right through to letting them carry out the diligence on our company. That's a really big vote of confidence that these offers are high enough and of a very acceptable nature, and as in any companies takeover offer period, there's no guarantees that any of these offers will be forthcoming.
At this point in time , the laws of probability are that we will accept one of these good offers.
The fund raising contingency plan is to make sure these bidders cough up now, or we can stay solvent and independent.
This is definitely not a fire sale.
Troublesome your China comment was said tongue in cheak, and genuinely meant to be humorous, I personally took it that way, as most people would, the world is changing , sensitivities around everything is changing, so we all have to be mindful to others sensitivities and feelings. And that Can be difficult at the best of times.
Can we get to 20p before Friday, anything can happen here .
Please DYOR, and never every rely on anyone's post to invest. GLA
Upbeat01 I’m unsure to the Accuracies of what your stating, but if your saying that nanocos CFQD QUANTUM Dots are now not being used in plesseys new microLeds then ok , I don’t right now have the time to fully research this properly , so I we believe what your claiming , and if your right, then my apologies and thank you for straightening that one out. The technology sector changes by the second.
Though nanoco seems to be delighted at our CFDQ breakthrough, and it’s numerous uses in every sphere of technology and business.
I reiterate DYOR. and question everyone’s statements on any forum, and especially mine.
GLA
upbeat your questioning posting is very welcome,
I thought plessey and nanoco's collaboration was to reduce the 5+UM In the pixels to below 4 UM pixels, and they achieved that brilliantly,
Mike Lee, President of Corporate and Business Development at Plessey, said:
“Quantum dots offer the best solution for today’s emerging display requirements. The nano-sized emitters with narrow band emission make them a suitable solution for Plessey’s microLED display roadmap, which will see pixels being driven down to 4µm in size by 2019.”
Dr. Brian Gally, Nanoco’s Head of Product commented:
“We are thrilled to be working in close collaboration with Plessey, who lead the global field in the development and production of mircroLED arrays. The combination of Plessey’s blue microLEDs with Nanoco’s red and green cadmium free quantum dots gives display customers the performance they require to rapidly commercialise products.”
Compared with all other display technologies, microLEDs are brighter, smaller, lighter, more energy-efficient and have a longer operating life. Where they replace OLEDs, for example in AR/VR goggles or head-up displays, Plessey microLEDs offer ten times the resolution, 100 times the contrast ratio, and up to 1,000 times the luminance. They do so at half the power consumption, doubling battery life in portable devices. They also feature perfect blacks, realistic colour, and immunity to burn-in or decay over time.
so are you saying these statments are wrong or out of date, because they worked at reducing these pixels most of 2019. and i believed that our quantum dot IP and expertise delivered what plessey required.
Please read my full posting again which is further down the postings below .
These things can baffle the smartest of people, as technologies cross each other over.
There is always very high risk when speculating on any takeover approach, as the downside can be devastating to most people, especially Private Investors, as i keep banging on, any thing can happen in the stock market, and believe me i've
seen plenty of takeover failings,
Whats 753 quantum dot patents worth ? , Only what our suitors will out bid each other on. thats the question & answer we are waiting on.
If i didn't feel confident i would take my already good profit right now and run. but i'm sitting very happy right now.
i'm so sorry for the LTI investors who have bought at much higher levels, but hopefully they can get all there money back plus and good profit.
PLEASE DYOR and be prepared to loose a lot of money if no bid prevails. GLA.
That s a fantastic update on current technologies,
Our newly invented CFQD quantum dots could well be a electronics sector game changer, regarding increasing colour sharpness and more , but much more importantly that 50% saving in battery life , as our CFQD quantum dots in conjunction with plesseys technology uses half the power consumption of all the other comparable usable devices, that's a massive breakthrough, also it's even lighter, plessey really needs our IP patents on this technology to stay in control of this lead they have on there competitors.
Our newly developed CFQD quantum Dot technology would have numerous other uses , in numerous other areas of business.
I'm quite sure plessey are on the ball here to try and buy our newly developed technology and IP.
I'M quite sure others will also want this technology , and if they can't buy it , then they will dam well makes sure others over pay for it, namely plessey, Our BOD and plessey have a very good working relationship , and I suspect they want this to continue well into the future,
Remember something , plessey is a enormous very valuable private company with a huge R&D workforce, they needed our know how + IP and CFQD to then complete there own newly designed product, and presumably products, and that in turn can run into VR , AR , phones tablets, and any other pluggable or portable products. That's a hell of a lot of devices, equalling billions of pounds worth of sales.
Do they want our 753 quantum dot patents, or at least a lot of them, = you can bet your bottom dollar they do.
A hard fought out bidding war can only sort this one out. And that means a substantial takeover price.
PLEASE DYOR, GLA.
Troublesome ,,,,Sir Thomas Browne was well ahead of his time, he obviously questioned everything ,up and including religious beliefs, that would have raised some eyebrows in its day and even now days LOL, he seemed the Albert Einstein type, without the obvious worldwide fame, he loved learning about everything, and especially loving his nearly permanently pregnant wife. LOL.
HE seemingly had a great life , and left a great legacy in his book writing and 12 children, and checked out of this world on the date he was born on, he may even have been surrounded by his children with a birthday cake on his final day, RIP, SIR THOMAS BROWNE.
The stock markets will come under some pressures this week with China's market opening up after a extended break, this coronavirus could have some way to go. We don't want the markets valuations to drop right now while we try to get the best price for nanoco. GLA
Troublesome Sir Thomas Browne, he’s definitely nothing to do with my family that I know of , LOL
But you never know, as he fathered 12 children in 18 years , He was a very clever physician and had interest in everything, a very accomplished gentleman indeed, and seemingly worthy of accolades from the highest places in the uk establishment.
