Joe, I know your portfolio is way down like many of us but your are misinterpreting newuncles words. This market is no good to anyone currently so you are not alone!

I think there is a bit of segregation in this share with PIs. On the one side you have the guys who have been in here for 18-24 months who have seen the SP decline over 80% since results but are told to be patient by the newer PIs. Then you have the PIs who are relatively new to the share and are full of hope, who have an average far lower than the longer PIs so they are far more relaxed.
One thing we all have in common is we need this to rise!!

AZD1656 - Our only hope. CSFS and MODE are now redundant investments, may as well write them off. One question regarding AZD1656 I have for either the BoD or SGSC themselves is can they define what exactly an almost Immediate commercialisation deal is? I'm not sure 10 months with no word at all is immediate?!

Nothing worse than a BoD that keep quiet when the SP is crashing. But if you have nothing positive to say then i guess its prob best to keep quiet. Like Newuncle this is a write off investment now. 5p incoming then what price will they raise at?! As long as the new team in Dubai is getting their healthy paychecks for now...

Exactly, this is the problem with AIM, companies seem to be able to say what they want in an RNS and get away with it. As you say, how could JW be confident and look forward to sharing the audited results? As is plainly clear, the results were atrocious and coupled with the resignations! Dread to think what JW would think are bad results?!

Its got to be bad when PIs are selling for pennies on the pound. Literally no point selling at these prices unless you really need to take some money and the heavy loss.

CSFS, like most of AIM in the current climate looks like a bunch of directors with no real control over spiralling costs. We would know if VELA exercised their warrants so I am pretty certain they have not. CSFS have stated they will be doing another fundraise but considering the SP is where it is they will have to offer a lot of shares to get anything significant from a raise. Unfortunately, CSFS looks another dud from the board and foolishly I got suckered in too!

Yesh, As has been said before, the market hates uncertainty so this is why we are where we are. I find it hard to believe that we are a further 10% down today meaning we are 60% down from the day before the RNS only for Julian to give a interview where this is not mentioned and everything seems rosey?!

VELA are due to give their quarterly investment update this month so will be able to see if we can gleam anything from that. Highly doubt it though.

Exactly, I highly doubt the potential for the SP to get into single digits was discussed! lol

Newuncle - good find. It would seem he is a master of deceit. I came here as I am invested in VELA who own £350k worth of shares at the astronomical avg of 54p here! Below is a direct quote from the VELA half yearly report RNS in December 21:
''The most disappointing of these is Vela's investment in Cornerstone FS plc, shares in which were listed on AIM in April 2021 at a price of 61p which at 30 September 2021 were trading at 27p. The Board of Vela has been in discussion with Cornerstone's management and has received explanations for the delays in Cornerstone achieving the plans set out in its admission document. Vela has been encouraged by these discussions and by a research note recently issued by Hardman & Co.''
Unfortunately the VELA BoD are next to useless so I highly doubt they will be questioning CSFS even though VELAs holding of £350k is now worth a laughable £49k.

Wow. You would never know the SP is 60% down from yesterday listening to that interview let alone 85%+ down from IPO price!

What good is having more users if you have to pay more in advertising costs than they bring in, along with the astronomical admin expenses? Its like paying £2 for a user who then gives you £1 back. The app, read the reviews, they are awful. Cash burn is high and while they will not need a raise in the immediate future if they carry on the cash burn like they are now another raise will be due and at what price? We keep hearing about the FCA registration and EMI licence but where has that actually got MODE so far?
The market doesn't lie but maybe you're right, they are all missing something on this company who have over doubled their losses in the last year.....

BigDave you should work for VELA as the PR & IR guy. YOU will get £100k a year and would be required to release less news than you do now for free.

So back of a fag packet maths shows Mode:
Spent an extra £5.9M on Admin costs
Spent and extra £1.2M on advertising
To make an extra £850k in revenue from the year before.
SP = 5.97 is about right given the above.

You may be right but steer clear of any investments VELA are involved with:
Mode - £316k invested > current holding = £36k
CSFS - £350k > £49k
SGSC - £2.35M > ??
KNB - £150k < £201k
MTI - £200k > £152k
CODE - £750k < £1M
RBSPLC- £30.3K > £27.7k
SKLS - £250k > £162K
ENSI - £750k < £758k
Igraine - £430.7k > £300K
TSP - £300k > £282k

Overall these investment have lost £414k (on paper), not including the £2.35m we have tied up in SGSC which currently shows no signs of giving us a return. If SGSC falls flat this BoD may well be overseeing nearly £3m loss in portfolio value....... Not bad for the decent salaries they are earning. Not even have any decency to interact with its SH regarding any of the above.

The worst thing about this is, if the BoD would have been significantly better leaving the cash in the bank earning 0% interest.
