Looks like the Asia Pac team was recruited only last year and came with very expensive packages and that has hit the bottom line really hard. Until today the CEO was highlighting the Asia Pac team success story, shame he didn't check the remunerations they got awarded.

Share price won't matter a jot to the company trust me. Of course they would like it much higher so they could raise more money for acquisitions instead of actually having to work hard to make they have deliver so that will be a challenge. However, if they do go down the riverfort style finance route then all they will do issue a huge number of new discounted shares to give to riverfort in exchange for cash. Riverfort won't retain the shares because they are not investors they are in it to make their cut form the financial deals they complete. So if CSFS decide to raise say £1m the Riverfort will say fine but at a 30% discount for xxx shares which they will sell down via a friendly broker (they always have a friendly broker to manage these sells that the like of you and I could never get access to. If the share price was to drop even further than the discount then they simply take more shares to make up the value, its a win-win for them even if a plc sees it's crash further and they can do this many times over before anyone pulls the plug ie when the NOMAD resigns. The the plc can either just close down and delist or as has happened be taken private by the management who then blame the market for not valuing their business. Any PI shares are either worthless or traded on a matched exchange which is so bad that the shares are virtually worthless still.

All of the above is IMO and could be entirely academic if a business angel was found and decided invest here with £m to deliver the technology etc or another related company made a bid for the company of course. Personally I would love to see TINTRA plc but the business but I am not really sure that they actually would need or want it? Wish I could get the two CEOs (Julian and Richard to have a chat).

Just dug this up, does make you wonder about the level of true diligence that AIM and the NOMAD/House Broker actually complete (if any) when a company lists on AIM. Anyway in this short but very sweet film Julian emphasises the very solid financial foundations of CSFS (I know you couldn't make it up could you). Seems like he fooled everyone or he just lied to everyone, can't really believe he got away with this and all the claims he has made throughout 2022 right up to 30 June. Anyway, if you can bear to watch it, here it is:

As far as I am aware the NOMAD for the company has to approve all RNS releases so wtf were they doing in allowing this misleading information being published and then CSFS only telling investors at the absolute last minute of their dire cash position.

After being appointed a NOMAD for a company, the advisor becomes responsible for advising and guiding the company on the responsibilities it assumes to be admitted to the AIM. The responsibilities mainly include (the AIM officially imposes 45 rules):
Retention of a Regulatory Information Service provider to ensure disclosure information can be notified as and when required (AIM Rule 10)

Can someone just answer the question of where the value for Shareholders is? especially those who bought in at IPO levels?

Newuncle you have changed your tune from a month ago when they released the disastrous final year results? YOu also seemed to think they had enough cash to get through till December but here we are 6 months on from the last raise and they are raising funds again AND giving absurd pay rises to the Dubai team at the expense of shareholders. Luckily the SP is holding up much better than expected but let's see what happens next week.

I think you may be right LtdAxis looking at it again there is no way they could have witheld the £500k in shares to EMS if the trial was a complete success, obviously their board determined it was not and withdrew the deferred consideration until EMS could prove that the drug will make money essentially. Fair play to Igraine they looked at it and realised it wasn't what they first thought whereas VELA managed to let SGS sell the 1.1B shares in VELA on the back of this 'success'. I would love to sell here but the loss would be too much to bear, bottom drawer for a couple years and it may come good but in the short term we will be stuck at these levels.

Agreed Jim. Need to stay well away from that placing. Dark days ahead on CSFS. Good job VELA have an avg of over 50p there, 90%+ down over there by end of okay tomorrow for us.

Joe look away tomorrow. This will tank to below 6.5p easily. 6.5p placing, Awful! Paying the Dubai guy nearly £3m over 3 years, Scandalous! Dilution, So bad. Now not good enough for bottom draw, throw away investment now.

I don't think anyone was expecting the quarterly update to be overly positive, the markets are fairly bad all round so when they come out and say the investments have improved it came as a shock! You only have to do a little digging and see that is not the case. Bear in Mind CSFS went from 20p to 7p in that quarter alone and Mode dipped from 14p to 6p. None of our investment have set the world on fire in that quarter to not only make up the losses from just these two but to then increase the portfolio value! As mentioned, i wouldn't mind seeing how they came to this value but seeing as our BoD don't know they have made a £300k investment i won't hold my breath!

I can only think you were referring to the ENSI investment? But those were converted automatically at 12% discount on IPO price. Hence why we are able to calculate the value of that investment.

Jimmy which CLNs are you referring to? Also if they have converted anything into shares do you not think we would have been notified if not by RNS but by the quarterly update? Besides all of the above that would not make up the £150k difference in our calculations

Joe - i would just invest directly in Mode in that case... Bear in mind we have an avg of 52p in Mode so it would need to 9 bag just for us to break even in our our investment. If you are confident in MODE you may as well make the 9 bags yourself.

Equally I hope investors don't buy in here seeing that someone is quoting 1000% rises inferring that may happen here.... All we are doing is looking at the facts. Some of us have been here nearly 2 years and seen our investments collapse on the back of a 'successful' trial. The rest of the investments are terrible bar a couple. We have employed an IR & PR firm who are terrible we have taken on another director (but at least they have skin in the game) to add to the payroll and looking for another one! not a lot to be chirpy about really is there.... Oh hold on AZD1656 commercial discussion are ongoing! zzzzzzzzzzzz

UncleJim, if the trial is a dud they just need to come out and say it. I know that would mean a lot of PIs selling here (me included) but I guess that's the reason they keep dangling the carrot, as the SP would make the company near worthless. Worth looking at SNG as their phase 2 trial was deemed a huge success and the SP responded accordingly, BUT then the phase 3 was a failure and look what happened to the SP. At least SNG had peer reviewed results etc. Lets face it, the only reason most of us are here is AZD1656, if that is confirmed to be nothing then yes, you are far better off taking your money out here no matter how much you have lost as the SP would take many years to get anywhere near break even for most of us.
As myself and BigDave eluded to with the latest quarterly update, they are now manipulating the figures for the other investments to sound better than they are (which is still awful). The company investments did not increase by £56k in the last quarter, a claim I think the BoD have to clarify as we make it more like £98k reduction.....
