Anyone thinking this can't potentially drop to 200 and below is naïve. If there's one thing I've learned from COVID, it is expect the unexpected. Or even expect the worst and hope for the best. And that uncertainty has been crap for travel. And the painful media love it - any rises in cases or talk of new variants and it's all over the news because the media thrives on fear. When the reality is 99% of the people that have been vaccinated will be fine and therefore we should get on with our lives - simple. But unfortunately in the world of the markets, particularly travel sector - any uncertainty kills it. And the governments 1st priority is to protect its citizens so the more talk on the news about the NHS being under pressure, the more likely it is that the government will react. That's the way the world works particularly under the microscope of the media and social media. So I am biding my time with Tui/Easyjet until we are incontrovertibly out of the woods. If the price does get silly, then obviously worth a punt at that point. Gla.
Thanks Brillo - appreciated. I will take that feedback on board and extend you the same courtesy in future. At the time, it was difficult to find a better adjective in light of the fact the SP recovered from 25% down to trade flat.
You're right brillo - I did read it. And then decided I'm going to absolutely no notice. Sure plenty do the same for me.
Just to reiterate - a 0.14 finish after being 25% down is an unbelievable result and shows how fickle the markets can be. It also backs up the views aforementioned that yesterdays result were expected and people were more than happy to buy in the 0.12 - 0.13 range as they are considered as discounts. I think that's a pretty good position to be in going into the next RNS. Have a good eve
I'll tell you something - it's a good job Gandalf was in charge of defending Minas Tirith and not Mirsol. In fact - I think Mirosol inspired Tolkien to write Lord Denathor's character - see example below. GLA
Well done to those that bought in the first 10 minutes20 Oct 2021 08:54
Absolute no brainer. It's still cheap as chips at 0.13. Cynderlad was right in terms of the first real wall we are going to get to because of the previous placing is 0.18. As far as I'm concerned up until then we have opportunities for the SP to run. LTH's that have been in this for years - please don't crucify me - I am being purely pragmatic and looking at how people will view this from a trading perspective. But IMO (said investerinvester) that is the first wall and we have to start somewhere. Further news clearly has to come soon. They are taking their bloody time with Loxley and Turkey. GLA.
It doesn’t stop the sheep from selling - look at the reaction to the share price after it fell initially. It’s because people know there are future RNS’ upcoming and people will buy at these prices. Make no mistake about that regardless of the BS that gets spouted on here. Iow decision yesterday was totally expected. I’m buying today, that’s my own decision.
Caddy - 0.20 before Christmas would be a 40% rise. That would be a bloody good place to start. But who knows - the turkey RNS moved it to 0.50. And as others have stated that IoW committee was absolutely useless yesterday - result totally expected
I think that’s a fair perspective Wizard - didn’t really look at it that way. Either way - I believe news is to come before Christmas that can potentially significantly move the SP towards 0.20. any reaction re: IOW will be temporary and noise. Just a spec of time. As Brian Cox would say - we’re just atoms. Atb.
Good assessment Skwizz. I agree - apart from the “sheep” selling in the morning I don’t see anything major happening. And I will happily buy stock on sale with Loxley, Turkey news and any other business update in the form of an RNS, which could drop any day now. Although a positive result today would have been an unexpected bonus the outcome was absolutely what everyone was banking on so nothing really has changed at all. It’s not the end of the world - as many others have pointed out earlier, appeal process will likely mirror Loxley. Gla
They were never going to pass it - too bothered in their *own* interests. Certainly never going to get anyone in favour of the national interest, which is typical human nature. Look forward to swatting these drones at appeal.
hahahaha Mr Investment - I am not sure a rejection (expected) of this application is going to warrant a shift in the shareprice to under 0.10. As it will be won at appeal anyway and that is priced in. But if it does - I will certainly be buying more with you. Loxley and Turkey I think is what most people have their eyes on. This would have been an unexpected bonus. Gla
