When a SP is being manipulated like this one is, good news will not have much, if any, sustained near term impact. Indeed, the fact that it didn't this time around only confirms to me that it is being manipulated.

Well folks, we got the trading update that was being called for. Just a shame that it is negative. How the SP performs today will show what the market really thinks of HVO as a medium/long term prospect. I have a horrible feeling that I will be stopped out this morning.

The SP is currently sitting just above the 2.9p support line. The Bollies indicated a near term rise to 3.5p but maybe we need to suck up some volatility for now as the MMs play it like a fish on a hook.

Therein lies one of the greatest mysteries about PIs. A company is pre-revenue, loss making, in debt and is burning through its cash at a rate of knots. So PIs pay through the nose for shares in the woof woof company! Caused by FOMO, stupidity, call it what you like, it is utter madness.

That may well be the case Toffers given the timing of the buys.

There have been some MM messaging going on today, through small buy orders e.g. a buy of 1 share and so as you say, someone wants to keep the SP down, at least for now.
