Maybe this is why there is not big money investor interest, low volume of trades everyday and a 15% spread. This fossil is turning into a fossilised turd. Still the NAV is growing....
Will they publish an estimate as to how many ants and termites they have exterminated and the biggest ant and termite mound they have found? It's these kind of statistics which we find particularly interesting at home..
How long do fossils take to form? Still great NAV and increasing all the time. This will be a really BIG fossil when it comes. Maybe the most valuable one ever...
One reason that I sold up was that this share seemed to be heavily manipulated and not even correlated to PM markets which are also heavily manipulated. But even a wrong clock is right twice a day and there are certain methods to spot that the tide is turning. So I'll wait and jump back in the right time growing my holding in tranches. At least one of the directors buying some shares would be give the market a bit of confidence that this was not just been run downwards.
Was tempted to jump in at 700p. Can't believe that this is heading for -600p now. Gold looks oversold but it's a bloodbath for silver. Before yesterday I would have said that this had hit the bottom. Now not so sure. Still trying to calculate where it could go and how quickly. Steady decine maybe to 550p or lower given that Powell has not ruled out interest rates at each meeting this year which will boost the dollar and hurt PMs. Shame as I still feel this has 1000p in it one day in the future.
A drop of this magnitude is unwarranted IMO. I made money buying at 898p and sellinng at 918p (missing the peak as I was convinced it was still undervalued and would breach 1000p). I maintain that anything under 900p is a bargain as this is easily a 1000p+ stock given the right conditions. Profit warnings affect the short term price but low 700's is madness for a share with such potential. Fill yer boots if you still have the cash IMO...
Plant pots, seed potatoes and compost25 Jan 2022 16:31
Down quite a bit on this having waded in deep at 572p. However, I'll be joining the masses stocking up on my gardening goods very soon. We'll all be growing at home if it kicks off in Ukraine. If its one thing that the lock down has taught me, it's amazing what one can do with a potato if one has to...Back up to 600p soon IMO.
Putin needs money, rolls in tanks, world markets drop, Putin buys cheap stocks, agrees a deal and rolls back tanks, stocks rise, Putin and diplomats make money. They who make the rules make the money...
RE: Any chart analysts can give an insight?20 Jan 2022 15:47
Beware a false bottom. Oft used trick of the MMs. You think its gonna rise and it does for a short time before continuing down. Use multiple tools and chart timeframes to ensure to reinforce the 'buy' signal before commiting your hard earned. Even then, set stop losses carefully and keep watching until you are convinced that it is a real rise. It's a dangerous time in the markets IMO, a sustained downward run over the past few days, talk of inflation and high prices coming, uncertainty over the UK PM and trouble on the Russia/Ukraine border. Market will settle but keep your wits about you and keep a reserve of cash in case of a crash so you can buy in the dip. Good Luck Everyone.
Thankyou @Brel. "The end point is the same ie the monetization of assets." Absolutely. Fortunately I only have a modest investment here, which is why I'll sit and wait. I need 13p (accounting for the huge spread) to exit this one. I typically make 10-20% on my other trades, holding for around 4 weeks, so the see such a slow mover is a bit frustrating. So I'll put this into the long term investment category whist I trade with my others. Good Luck everyone.
