Putin needs money, rolls in tanks, world markets drop, Putin buys cheap stocks, agrees a deal and rolls back tanks, stocks rise, Putin and diplomats make money. They who make the rules make the money...
"If you want to join NATO, eat leak and potato."
Beware a false bottom. Oft used trick of the MMs. You think its gonna rise and it does for a short time before continuing down. Use multiple tools and chart timeframes to ensure to reinforce the 'buy' signal before commiting your hard earned. Even then, set stop losses carefully and keep watching until you are convinced that it is a real rise. It's a dangerous time in the markets IMO, a sustained downward run over the past few days, talk of inflation and high prices coming, uncertainty over the UK PM and trouble on the Russia/Ukraine border. Market will settle but keep your wits about you and keep a reserve of cash in case of a crash so you can buy in the dip. Good Luck Everyone.
Thankyou @Brel. "The end point is the same ie the monetization of assets." Absolutely. Fortunately I only have a modest investment here, which is why I'll sit and wait. I need 13p (accounting for the huge spread) to exit this one. I typically make 10-20% on my other trades, holding for around 4 weeks, so the see such a slow mover is a bit frustrating. So I'll put this into the long term investment category whist I trade with my others. Good Luck everyone.
"To shift sausage rolls is the company's goals ."
Sorry @norrab1. Typo. Good Luck with your investments.
I take your point @narrab1. Alternative view is that people doing overtime or second job to meet the inflationary demand will grab convenience food as they don't have the time or energy to make their own. Watch Dominos and Just Eat too. Maybe..
I am also invested in MAFL. They are invested in FRES. This is what they have to say about FRES from MAFL's annual report of June 2021.
"Fresnillo Plc: Fresnillo is a £6.7B Mexican mining company listed in London (as well as on Mexican and US stock exchanges) and is the largest silver producer in the world. Fresnillo trades at 14.5x p/e and offers a 2.65% yield. We acquired our shares after an earnings disappointment and have added to our investment since 30 June 2021. The Juanicipio Mine, of which Fresnillo owns 56%, is entering into production in Q4 2021. We believe that Fresnillo is undervalued and will benefit from the completion of Juanicipio which should lead to a revaluation of its shares." Revaluation maybe on the cards.

9 Feb 2022. Full Year results for 2021.
Back in at 572p. I expect this to go back to previous trading levels in short term. IMO Pile in while BME is at this price. Good Luck
Probably a 6p investor seeing this going nowhere, cashing in and putting their money into something that gives them a chance of a bit of profit in their lifetime.
The sell off undoubtably triggered some auto stops. It might drop again on Friday based on the director selling significant holding. The 300p prediction was made prior to this and has to be dismissed now IMHO. It could be director expectation of staff and shipping costs weighing this down. I'm watching this closely now for the right entry point on JD. I expect this to do well in the long run but there might be a shake out coming. Good Luck Everyone.
Must be a sweaty day for the shorters..Sweaty and brown..
Yo hammer don't hurt em'..
Brel, I remember the Indium announcement. It seemed that MAFL had struck it lucky and that the company share price would grow as Indium production commenced. At the same time I researched and saw an interview with the CEO which gave me more confidence that this was on the cusp of exploding. But here we are years later actually at a lower share price than back then and as you correctly note mention of Indium consigned to history. What next, harvesting 4-leaved clovers, magic beans or perhaps even unobtainium? Will no doubt increase NAV with no increase in sp and no RNS.
Poor shorters...
Thanks Brel.
And another 4.5% down today. Fantastic divergence between the so called 'value' and the share price here. Even better when you look at the 10% spread. The MA-FLy trap is a small seamingly innocuous grey plant. It will hypnotise and entice the unwary with promises of future growth. However this stock is like the jaws of the venus fly trap. Once you are invested there is no escape. You writhe as the MA-FLy trap dissolves your investment slowly whilst you watch helpless. Meanwhile the MA-FLy trap evloves into a true penny stock, virtually worthless with no hope of ever becoming anything greater...
