And a very sensible first post too!
Although, there are bound to be questions regarding your timing and why nothing for 4 years.
Pretty much all the comment today has been well reasoned which is always welcome.
Rocket - think you'll find the big trades were Richard moving shares around.
Dear me, the clouds of gloom have gathered here haven't they?
Chin-up, you never know.
Ha, dont worry Rocket...its not you! We're actually back around where we've been for a while now.
Sadly think you're talking to an empty room kiwi! Everyone now just watching and waiting. As you say, some sizeable activity recently suggests some still have faith. The clock is ticking, so there is a deadline of sorts. GL
Filth?? Dear me!
Baserite, I dont align myself with Pboo or anyone else. Your comments about the planning process are simply misleading and anyone with half an ounce of sense knows it. Enjoy the sunshine
Selfish, just take a look through the planning inspectorate's archive. Anyone with any actual knowledge of the planning process knows this is not ' nailed on' until the inspector issues their decision. If you want to believe otherwise that's up to you.
Perhaps you would give me an example of where you 'pointed me out previously' as I cant remember any. And most importantly I've been in and out of this share many times as I happen to believe in its prospects, but dont let that stop you.
What does that have to do with anything? Unless of course you're about to accuse me of wanting in cheaper?
If you want to believe this is nailed on , then fine, you go for it. I was simply being a voice of caution from my own experience. I should know better than to put an alternative view
Exactly Pboo.
Selfish, I'm not sure where you get to your conclusion about my 'usual unrealistic opinion' as we've never engaged before. Anyway, my comment, which was not intended as a negative or a deramp, comes from my own experience of three appeals. One involving a large development where the council and the inspector were of opposite opinions. Its actually quite common for Inspectors to find against, so I was merely voicing caution, that's all. No need for all the barrage of insults!
Yes
Afraid people need to read the comments at the end of the RNS! The council removing their objection is a major plus BUT the appeal will still be heard by the Inspector and, as a veteran of several appeals myself, I can tell you he/she could easily still throw this out. Cautious optimism is the name of the game here and the market knows it
As I suspected, all resolutions passed but no info on the deal. Lets hope Richard can enlighten us. Price drops of course but that's to be expected in these situations. No doubt it will be overdone. Surely there must have been discussions today about progress or otherwise???
Does seem odd, but remember AFG's fee is £1 million cash subject to a successful deal so it's in their interests to see it through. Mind you they're on a 250k abort fee if PFP pull the plug on negotiations! How many shares do they own?
Of course we might well just get the standard all resolutions passed RNS! Wouldn't surprise me.
Like it. Would love to know the real reason SRB left. Guess we may find out soon!
at the AGM. Be good to get a heads up on things?
I thought it was interesting the other day with Richards six points where he said if a deal wasn't forthcoming Aligns approach would change. That's the first time I've see anything other than positive. Not reading anything in, and I'm sure we'll see further comment in due course
Another one. I sense disagreements over deal terms or failure to secure anything. Today is going to be interesting!
What's Align's view on this Richard, or are we all now just waiting for 11am?
Been here forever it seems! Made a big chunk a few years back on a big spike, but been watching and waiting ever since. It is an all or nothing share now as far as I'm concerned. It will all come down to the terms of the deal if it arrives.
Ignore the noise and good luck!
Mr Bond....surely you're not shaken or stirred? When did you join us on this PFP ride?
