It's a gas19 May 2019 01:58
Hi learned enquestrians,
I'm trying to get my head around the value of the "e" in boepd and assume it is all associated gas. From OGA figures I estimate about Β£1.75 million current potential value per year from North Sea with vast majority coming from Magnus. I know we use some of it for fuel and injection so can't sell it all. I know there is Malaysian gas also but have no numbers. Compared to annual report 2018 which has annual condensate and gas sales at $43.1 million there is quite a disparity. The annual report does flag up an unquantified cost against that 43.1 figure (purchased gas being sold). So we produce condensate and gas, sell some, re-inject some, regain some of the injected stuff, buy gas in and do any of the latter three options to that. Can anyone with more knowhow tell me whether the income from gas is actually significant? Or let me know gently if I have it all wrong. xxx
