So nothing fishy there.
The link is still broken. Report it to IR and they're sure to send you a Lambrini gift pack as a thank you.

Hi,
The link doesn't work but if you click "New Energy and Decarbonisation" in the banner it takes you there.
Both CS applications will be in NS Area 1. The Magnus associated gas going up the EOS pipeline system being replaced by CO2. It is a perfect fit, operator of Sullom Voe, a pipeline and a bunch of redundant wells in NS Area 1 .
GLAXXX
Hi,
The message will be this:
"EnQuest is an integrated energy company. We focus on mature late-life assets, responsibly optimising production to provide energy security. Where we can, we repurpose our infrastructure to deliver renewable energy and decarbonisation projects before executing world-class decommissioning."
It is front page on the website. It is all about repositioning and not about oil/gas extraction current or future. We are striving to be a clean green energy machine who happens to do some of that other historical stuff but we don't talk about it anymore. We do it to make a profit but also to play a part in preventing national/global societal meltdown, but diplomatically tight lipped about that also.
I think off the record genuinely forward looking but with a realistic understanding of the value and longevity of the NS energy assets. So give us a chance . . .
Having said that it normally tanks so as ever . . .
GLAXXX
Hi,
I think the website has been updated with some new pages/structure. Start here and have a click:
https://www.enquest.com/global-operations
Bressay - A project is currently underway to progress the development of the field drawing on EnQuest’s track record of success in the adjacent Kraken field.
Bentley - Bentley is anticipated to be part of a phased development, potentially following that of Bressay.
I know this has all been said but it's being restated on purpose.
Stuff on New Energy and Decarbonisation also.

Hi,
COSL Innovator is still on site.
From mid Feb.
"The planned two well infill drilling campaign is ongoing, but delayed. The first wellbore, having failed to locate
reservoir-quality sands, was plugged and the well was side-tracked to the second target. Adverse weather conditions
have resulted in expected first production from this well being deferred into the second quarter of 2023"
The screening Direction has side tracks planned for a "worst-case drilling scenario".
We're in the second quarter. Maybe something forward looking in the FY22 upcoming.

Hi,
January NSTA figures are in.
I get 49,128 boepd with the usual Malaysia estimate. Here's the last two years graphed.

Hi 34,
I agree but fear there is not the appetite despite everything to the contrary. This was my guess at how the politic might bend and save face limiting damages. My inner Turkey hopes for free range and organic benevolence until I shake my final tail feather without an EPL in sight.

Hi,
Love a competition.
How about a reversal to 25% <$70 and 35% <$85 based on a daily average.
I feel like a battery turkey awaiting Christmas and hoping that it will be banished before the inevitable but reticent regardless a batch of avian bird flu will sweep in anyhow to seal my fate.
Over to Farmer Shapps and Baron Sunak.

and this updated end of 22
https://about.bnef.com/blog/a-year-of-breakthroughs-and-setbacks-for-the-race-to-net-zero-in-five-charts/
We need an energy messiah to emerge, cleansing the slicks in Poole Harbour, proceeding to Parliament Square upon a unicorn drawn carriage and then denouncing the forked tongues of the SW1 energy brigade before disappearing in an orgasmic cloud of nitrous oxide.
Just my thoughts, might not be the strategy for all, the emails might work also.

Hi,
I missed the first mention but was listening for the second one:
"For the past 40 years, my constituency has been home to the two largest oil terminals in western Europe: Flotta in Orkney and Sullom Voe in Shetland, which provide a visual demonstration of the just transition. EnQuest, the terminal operator at Sullom Voe, is now working on projects involving hydrogen, carbon capture, use and storage, and offshore electrification of production. It is a visual illustration of transition, but again it shows just how ill served we are by binary choices. All the time, we seem to be told, “You can have renewables or you can have hydrocarbons, but you can’t have both.” That is dangerous nonsense. We have allowed production of oil and gas on the UK continental shelf to decline in recent years, and it has been to our detriment. It was never put in these terms at the time, but I cannot think why anyone ever thought it would be a good idea to rely on Vladimir Putin for the purchase of our gas and Mohammed bin Salman for the production of our oil when we have a rich resource on our own doorstep. As we heard from the hon. Member for Banff and Buchan (David Duguid), the production of oil and gas in the North sea or to the west of Shetland is much less carbon-intensive than importing it from other parts of the world."
Regardless, looking at the thirty minutes I watched, if that represents our high level decision making, 20 or so in a room for 650, still chucking in a "hear hear" like a collection of narcissistic chimps at a tea party, then no wonder we are f***ed as a country.
GLAXXX to all of course.
Hi,
Frikkin wormholes.
This from our friends at the Climate Change Committee.
https://www.theccc.org.uk/publication/delivering-a-reliable-decarbonised-power-system/
To be honest it is probably above my pay grade but ****loads of graphs and take these bullet points.
"The Committee regards a small amount of remaining unabated fossil
gas capacity in 2035 as compatible with a decarbonised power
system, with its occasional use acting to balance the system and
ensure security of supply. The impact is expected to be small in terms
of annual emissions and generation shares (meeting up to around 2%
of annual electricity production in 2035). A system without the use of
unabated gas may be possible in 2035, but is likely to increase costs
and delivery risks. Ensuring that sufficient gas capacity is on the system
to accommodate a plausible range of future weather extremes (and
future-proofed to be CCS / hydrogen-ready as far as possible) needs
to be considered now as part of a strategy for system design."
I think unabated means not balanced by carbon capture.
"However, pushing out all fossil fuel use in electricity and hydrogen
supply by 2035 currently looks implausible, given constraints on the
feasible build-out of zero carbon capacity. Even when achieving a
decarbonised system by the mid-2030s, the GB electricity system will
still require significant volumes of fossil gas for use with CCS, whether in
post-combustion power plants or ‘blue’ hydrogen production to fuel
hydrogen turbines. Demand for fossil gas with CCS can be expected
to reduce to 2050 as non-fossil (e.g. green) hydrogen displaces blue
and energy end-uses decarbonise further"
and lots of data to download at section 3 but try this one:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/f74fvlv0upbs2bp/ccc%20graph.bmp?dl=0
Unabated gas capacity low range 2035 10GWh - high demand today probably just above that
https://www.energydashboard.co.uk/historical
They're saying it can't be done by some degree without Carbon Capture and nuclear but anyhow also it just can't be done.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Loads posted here today but for what it's worth . . "where are we going to"
Average Malaysia production Sep to Dec I make average 6765. Probably boosted towards later months but not the increase due to drilling/workovers I had envisaged.
48k boepd January - again not showing expected improvements
Nothing on EP. They have stated interested parties previously. I'm not interested in parties anymore. I might break back in and do a dirty protest on their poop deck. Warm stacks don't come cheap!!
Nothing on PM409 - surely a promoted target now?
