Hi,
Riddle me this. Majors appeared to be looking to get out of North Sea commitments for whatever reason. BP has just bought back into Foinaven and Andrew. Why? Production or carbon capture assets? Anybody clever out there? GLAXXX
Hi,
Some Orcadian reporting and press today. If it wasn't obvious they were looking at recycling an FPSO then it is now “Certainly we are looking at [FPSO] redeployment candidates, but we’re still looking at a fair amount of modifications to those,” Mr Brown explained, noting that its use of polymer flood and wash tanks were atypical process equipment choices. (Crondall will again assist with FPSO modifications.) " I haven't a clue how adaptable EP is but fingers crossed. Timings align also as both Orcadian and Enq had suggested end Q1 21 decision/news.

Hi,
Thanks Oil,
I had forgotten that a difficult surname was an investment bad. You say Boozoozoo I say Beeseesu, let's call the whole thing off.
Have you ever worn a tight fitting spacesuit? A niche part of the CUNST project is to get to the bottom of "how a go-go goes in space* and unsurprisingly you have been selected for that phase of the study.
I know you will be over the moon with that, but in reality, it's time to stop those trolly fingers from doing the typey thing that they do and concentrate on the big picture. Some training to do but we don't want a further squeak from you till we arrive at "This is Ground Control to Major Oil".
I see potential here, you might even moonshadow your pilot, he broke the suez c anal now he wants to interfere with Uranus (cheap but it's late).

Hi,
You will all have noticed that Enquest were nominated for this years OGAUK "Diversity and Inclusion Award" at this evening's event but sadly were not victorious.
https://ogukawards.co.uk/finalists-2021/
https://www.energyvoice.com/oilandgas/north-sea/370944/oguk-awards-2021/
Well done for being nominated and you can bet Swinney and the table downed a barrel or two of lambrini at the awards.
People of Shetland can rest assured that the UK Space Agency Awards will however be a guaranteed local good news story as our "Cunst in Space" programme has also been nominated for its own "Diversity and Inclusion Award". It reads "In recognition of a devoted and sustained effort to take those on the fringes of society to the fringes of the universe, and frikkin leave them there, the Cunst in Space Project has engaged with Trolls, Clowns and General Lowlifes. First identifying fitness and choreographic potential, then developing that through strenuous and sometimes excrutiatinly painful late night employment opportunities, chosen candidates are able to move forwad to astronaut boot camp and then launch mission possibilities."
A spokesperson for "Cunst in Space" commented "We are proud to receive the nomination, these guys and gals need support, you can't descend or ascend a ramp in zero gravity you just float around like a meaningless twat, the sooner they get up there the better. We are expecting a first test launch somewhere around the next Enquest share price wobble"

Hej Aloj,
Not me.
We vacated a Nigg and EP few weeks ago to set up at the Shetland Space Centre at Central Unst (CUNST, you couldn't dream it). All above board this time as we have been handed a sizeable UKSA research grant to investigate the effects of zero gravity on the troll psyche. The aim is to see how those harmful personality traits deal with "floating in a most peculiar way". And it will of course be peculiar. In simple terms evaluating pointlessness against weightlessness. Hannon of course but several new recent recruits going through astronaut boot camp. "Oil" showing leadership qualities and a prime candidate for first launch. Interesting times.
Of real interest the space junk falling to earth from prospective launches is a danger to shipping and will put a whole new dimension on tanker watch. They'll have to go 3D.
GLAXXX
Hi,
I wrote a big message about frikkin boats not going where they are frikkin meant to. I deleted it and thought better to use the space to thank others who go through similar tankerwatch pain. It is a useful metric from the moment that snergelly hose does what only it can do. We salute you. Tide Spirit we are all yours . . . . lock the door on your way out.
GLAXXX
Hi Jan,
More than that.
http://www.fluffythevampireslayer.com/2019/03/the-french-cat-massacre-true-life-horror.html
Who knew. People are strange.
All these pussies bouncing around reminds me I have a space flight to organise. Fully crewed now from recent arrivals.
GLAXXX
Hi
Bodil Knutsen and Scott Spirit are both headed for Alvheim . . . . . . #rude!!! You need two snergelly hoses for a double penetration. I wonder if it will be side by side or back and front? Hope it sinks due to the excitement.
Petronordic meanwhile will doubtless stop off at the Granite City for a bit of R&R, tea and scones (dock talk for alcohol and hookers), before wending her leisurely way North East to AK, who should by then be gagging and fuller than Mr Creosote nibbling on the tail end of a "waffer thin mint".
It ia a bit like creosote come to think f it so that works on many levels.

Hi Romaron,
Awwwww, you thought of me.
I have introduced myself to Fred and as you predict I like Fred.
This is Brent against Eu Gas.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/glez2x311hl4ug0/Fred%20Brent%20to%20EU%20GAs.jpg?dl=0
Doesn't capture last week and stops mid October on gas but highlits upside on Magnus sold gas and potential on import gas.
Petronordic now being sucked off dockside Rotterdam, I know it's an old one, but I love it, and we've all been there. Still no arrival time at Scapa Flow but maybe three days to offload.

Hi Pelle,
It is worth mentioning because it confirms in some way GEAD production rate is good till year end.
It's all massively more complex than we could ever imagine.
Quick quote from November's Sullom Voe employee of the month Neil Hannon:"If you build it, and focus enough thought and effort on it, you increase the odds of them coming". Reorts that he is doing very well at SVT astronaut boot camp and very much looking forwards to boldly going where no man has gone before in the new year.
GLAXXX
Hi McL.
I was looking at the $75 million GE interim earlier also. I believed $75 million was referenced early days and thought odd they stuck with it but can't find that earlier reference now. For $75 million and if taxed at 40% then I think that would mean they were selling GEAD at average $40 Jan to Oct 2021. I'd pencilled another $20 million with a higher average oil price and a higher than reported breakeven.
It's always mist and mirrors.
GLAXXX
Hi,
I'm not. I'm saying two GE cargo Liftings from Flotta and Enquest % attributable to Enquest. At 600k "standard" that was just below three liftings by year end by my calculations so two was correct. If they can go to 580k then next lifting would be a bit later. In any event Amjad correct to say two rather than the uplifting "nearly but not quite three".
P.S. Note to self, must ask if we can knock out some rocket fuel at SVT, Hannon astronaut training going better than expected

Hi McLondoner,
"Industry standard volume measure"
I think the Platts specification guidance is a standard that wouuld apply to Flotta:
https://www.spglobal.com/platts/plattscontent/_assets/_files/en/our-methodology/methodology-specifications/emea-crude-methodology.pdf
Page 6
"Platts reflects full 600,000 barrel Aframax cargoes with an operational tolerance of plus or minus 1% in its FOB STS Scapa Flow and Dated Brent CIF Rotterdam assessments, but includes Aframax cargoes with a minimum stated volume of 580,000 barrels and an operational tolerance of plus/minus 1%. Offers with a volume less than 600,000 barrels must meet the minimum volume requirement of 580,000 barrels plus/minus 1% and continue to reflect the standard cargo quality for that grade. Offers and trades with a volume less than 600,000 barrels may be subject to normalization for assessment purposes. These volume guidelines replace the mother/daughter ship restrictions on FOB STS Scapa Flow and CIF Rotterdam cargo offers in the Dated Brent Market on Close assessment process, effective April 21, 2021."
I like the notion of SVT as a profit making holding tank.
In fact, anything "profit making" would be a godsend where the elongated sufferance of Enquest is concerned . . .
Buy it and it will go up and frikkin DOWN
GLAXXX
Hi Hitman.
Yes, I think the buy in to a field development model is more lilkely than the sale option. Split risk and reduced emissions being big at present.
I still feel the need to qualify that buy saying I know **** all.
GLAXXX
Hi,
I've been looking at EP
This suggests around $200 million:
https://1drv.ms/b/s!ApxdGhcgelThpUU1P39EWKqRDr_a?e=ZtOJjJ
and this demonstrates what bespoke pieces of engineering they are;
https://1drv.ms/b/s!ApxdGhcgelThpUOgo0b0Umxrn5YS?e=wdyiBn
There has to be a plan in the near future or it would have been run aground at some enviromentally transparent scrapyard and sold on to a hundred partners before you could hide the blackbox.
I still get taken to Navion Hispania at Aliaga as a splashpage if I go to Marine Traffic. It's like she has been ripped apart alive by sandal wearing, sweaty loin clothed, highly exploited and impoverished operatives using only their teeth while the AIS still has the faintest of heartbeats awaiting the final sledgehammer.
Not so for EP . . .
