All my fault of course!!

So let's get this straight Tony. You think Pensana may get planning permission in June. You think ministers will turn up at their new piece of farmland for a ceremony in July, maybe cut a ribbon. Then they've got a bit of a bond you say, not all of a bond because it's "easier to deliver that way". Rocky wanted a bigger site. Really? What is your source for all this? It makes no sense to me, I think someone is leading you up the garden path and you should be very careful about regurgitating this stuff. Furthermore be under no illusion, planning and building a facility to refine RE is an exceptionally complex task and your biggest problem is where on earth to you find the skilled staff to operate the plant. I think the task is beyond Pensana and that as a minimum any financier will require a completion guarantee but who on earth would be in a position to provide that? And where is the guaranteed thorium free supply? It is garbage to state that 3 mines have expressed interest in having their output processed if Pensana have capacity. Go on, name the mines, or concede you haven't a clue who they are or might be. I know I stand accused of being a FUD, troll, down ramper whatever but I do not post information that is false or misleading. Ever.

The shares are a gift. The recipients do not pay for them, they are simply given them in 3 years time. The remuneration committee, (appointed by the directors but totally impartial of course) sets the vesting criteria. Its a phenomenal one off bonus even at 78 pence. Very kind of the shareholders.

Well Tony that is exciting. So finance finally announces in 8 days time, if not before. I thought it was BNY nominees and not the bank itself that held shares, must have got that wrong?

HZM finance terms were pretty tough. Thats the problem when you go to the big boys for offtake etc, they really seek their pound of flesh. The likely result of the convertibles is that if the project is a success the original pi's get diluted to a fraction of the action. HZM has enjoyed a very nice rally on the back of Ukraine but it is this dilution and the terms on the convertibles that puts a ceiling on the shares. IMO Glencor will take out the equity at some point, will probably look to do that around the 7.5/8p mark. We shall see.

I agree it is possible that the application could be decided under delegated powers, I just think that given this is flood zone 3a, 50 odd objections, not brownfield, it will be called in. Had I been an objector I would have focussed in on the claim this is important infrastructure, I think the company is extremely fortunate this has escaped everyone’s attention. Of course at the end of the day the only thing that matters is finance for the mine. Here I agree with you, it will be an HZM structure, shareholders scalped, if anything. FEED approach to my mind bonkers. Atherley the biggest handicap. Corporate governance and communication woeful. But you know what I think anyhow!

So Humdrum what are you going to say if nothing happens in the next couple of weeks? I think that with the level of objections the planning application has to be called in, contrary to Mumbles/Pensana's hopes. There is a meeting this Thursday, it's not going to that, so if called in next date is end of May. Not sure what consensus Mumbles is referring to, maybe that's just amongst Pensana management? Happy to be corrected!

Mumbles you’re flailing around and it’s not pretty. So you are trying to suggest that the lease contained conditions precedent that were not satisfied and allowed Pensana to walk away. Very surprised that you would peddle such cxxp. That’s more China’s style. Better just to accept it was a colossal f up and hope that the mistake is not repeated with this bit of farmland they have found. You couldn’t make this up.

Equinor own half a billion pounds worth of wind farms. But being jolly nice chaps they are going to pay the rent and cut the grass for Pensana. And here’s another interesting fact. When Pensana made there announcement on 24th August about how everything was going so swimmingly well at Saltend they had already turned their attention to a field up the road, where surprise farming stopped in October. You could hardly make this stuff up. Or stuff up. If planning decides that a flood zone 3a site that exists as a buffer between Saltend and residential areas is the right place to store 10,000 tons of super toxic chemicals it would be a miracle.

Mumbles, everything Pensana does is world beating state of the art. They scatter these adjectives like confetti through every announcement they make. It looks to me like they don't even have pp for Saltend Mark 2.

Chairman Paul Atherley commented: "It has been a little over nine months since the team set foot on the Saltend Chemicals Park and since then rapid progress has been made with site selection, process route development, facility design, planning permission and the commencement of site preparation. FEED is well advanced and expected to be completed in late October with the site preparation complete the following month."

Oh dear, it’s a bad sign when the uprampers lose the plot. It’s been going badly wrong ever since Atherley bought his metal detector and started digging up East Yorkshire (without telling anyone). Not helped by the Norwegians losing interest and the ATF debacle. BTW is it reasonable to describe Longonjo as “state-of-the-art”? Since when can a strip of pock marked scrub be described thus?
