Sherlock Rolf I think you should investigate better. The scientist behind the paper do not need money pr fame as they are retired. What about the 99% rest of scientists that need to get funds for research? Would they benefit from claiming the end is near because of CO2 ?

Sherlock climate change does exist. It has been getting warmer slowly since the Little Ice Age 500 years ago. And CO2 is a climate gas and some of this warming was likely caused by anthropogenic CO2. However at current atmospheric CO2 concentrations (420ppm) any increase in concentration does not matter much because of saturation. Even if we double the concentration to 800ppm (which would take a looong time) the warming is less than one degree C. This is physics!

Sherlock Rolf why don’t you read the paper instead of attacking people. Or maybe you cannot really understand much of science, just reading The Guardian every now and then?

If so that would be be great I think….any raise in an already sanctioned SeaLion would be at a Significant premium to today’s share price!

If anyone could ask at the AGM about any progress on the South Falkland Basin licences that would be great. For example Borders and Southern farmout efforts might be more likely to be successful if any farminee also could farm into RKH acreage somehow? Or do we just wait and hope BOR get lucky? Would Navitas be interested?

Javier Milei’s free-market reforms have put him on a collision course with Argentina’s icy, protectionist outpost near Antarctica, as the president rethinks a decades-old project to promote sovereignty in the south Atlantic through industry.

Tierra del Fuego province, on an island at the southern tip of the Americas that is split between Argentina and Chile, is the biggest beneficiary of elaborate trade barriers and subsidies that Argentine governments have used to shield local industry.

A special economic regime has drawn most of the country’s electronics manufacturing to the remote area, swelling its population from just 13,000 in the 1970s to 185,000.

Leftwing supporters of those measures say the settlers bolster Argentina’s claim to the Antarctic Peninsula and the UK-controlled Falkland islands. Images of the Malvinas, as Argentines call them, are posted around Ushuaia, the sleet-covered provincial capital of 80,000. “We see industry as a tool for building sovereignty,” said Federico Greve, a legislator for the province’s left-leaning ruling party. “It’s one of the few Argentine public policies that has been sustained over time.”

However, Milei’s vision for Argentina is very different. The libertarian economist is slashing import tariffs to reduce high consumer prices, and wants to pivot the economy from manufacturing towards mining, energy and tech. At the same time, he is tentatively restarting defence co-operation with London as he seeks a grand western alliance between “all countries who defend freedom”.

What if the Board with all their experience within finance got us more exposure to the financial world through broker notes /forecasts (Actus Advisers, Zeus Capitsletc) Would cost a bit but at least we will get some sort of «independent» valuation of the company and its prospects.

At the moment there is only a handful of trades a day as no one knows or believes.

Most people probably already sort of know but I though this was a good description (note that I doubt the cornerstone bank would take on this challenge without already having a very good idea of how to get it arranged and sorted):
