@Urraca - I bought another £150 worth at 90.32p yesterday with my monthly ISA subscription through HL. I bought in on Tuesday at 92.68p, so can't complain.
I held these a few years ago after reading about Watkin Jones in the Midas column. I never held them for long, But have now decided to buy in this morning.
As far as I know, there'll always be a big demand for University students needing somewhere to stay.
@BobbyO - if you don't know the answer to that, you either need professional advice or not to invest at all !
I first bought into DEC below 100p after seeing it tipped in the Midas column (Mail on Sunday).
I added a few days ago as it fell back below 100p & after forgetting it was results RNS day today (i have a bad cold/virus) i added again at 93p.
After IMB, this is my 2nd largest holding with 11,500 shares held.
Decided to add more of these & more DEC today for relatively safe dividend yields of 8 & 12% respectively.
We should be in pretty safe hands here, as Legal & General is a far bigger & more diversified company than Direct line.
Our dividend should be safe too, as we have more cover.
My monthly ISA allocation has bought more LGEN today & if we head to the 220's again - I'll certainly look to add more.
By no way am i tipping this share, but is anyone else in Bens Creek(BEN).
I did massively well on (BEN) last year after selling the majority of my holding at over 500% profit & have been nibbling again under 30p.
There's a recent podcast that's well worth listening to (link in share chat on Bens Creek page).
If it all plays out, Bens Creek could well be another company paying out double digit % dividend yields.
As always = DYOR & good luck on all your holdings in 2023.
I was lucky enough to be notified about the potential of Bens Creek when the SP was approaching 11p & though i don't gamble massively on AIM trades (or any really) i came out with a 5 figure profit after selling some around the 98p mark.
I did ok on another dip & then started nibbling below 30p.
If news of the potential dividends gets heard by the masses, this could rocket 100 or 200% in next to no time !
To hear Adam saying he hopes to pay more than 5p a share makes it tremendously appealing against the current SP.
Good luck & Happy New Year to all holders.
I did very well out of these a few years ago & then bought back in on a drop in the SP.
I've sat holding a paper loss for a while, but was never going to sell, as i believed in the story going forward (as regards gas storage)
