I've traded this share just a few times over the last few years & always think it's worth checking out after a substantial drop.

I used to buy in below 900p & sell out in the 1200-1300p range.

The last time i bought in it was heading to the 1000p mark & i sold out at a decent profit. I never thought it would reach 2000p, so i missed out on the eventual SP rise (I'd got used to the SP retracing after any decent rise).

If the SP keeps dropping, i certainly wouldn't put anyone off buying in or adding more TEP.

Good luck folks, but don't ever be afraid to take a decent profit.

@sotonspike - you don't need a crystal ball when you can see the dips in a companies sp.

You don't need to be a genius to know it's better to buy the shares of Lloyds bank at 40p than it is to buy them at 48p.

If they're around 40p or below when my monthly ISA subscription is due, I'll add more Lloyds.

If they climb back up to 43p or more, then I won't add more.

Simple really.

Once LGEN climbed back above 230p I stopped adding.

I sold BP at 530p & they're now worth looking at again IMHO.

As with shares such as LGEN & BP ..... Just buy the dips :)

Financial authorities & governments should ban shorting.....full stop !

If DEC is such a badly run company, then why did Midas in the Mail on Sunday tip it as being exactly the opposite of being a badly run company ?

Also, why did it feature in the top ten holdings of a well run unit trust when i looked before Xmas (surely a professional fund management team would know better than the average private investor)

Ironically America thinks it's China & Russia that are corrupt !

The timing of this is so blatantly obvious & no doubt plenty of Americans will "load up" for a fantastic dividend opportunity.

So DEC begins trading on the NYSE & this crap gets thrown up !

Nothing more than a SCAM so American investors can pick up DEC shares on the cheap & earn a small fortune in Dividends.

And the Amricans think China & Russia are corrupt !

I think there's no dealing fees when buying shares with a monthly direct debit in a HL ISA.

A few more have been added today in my ISA, along with a couple of other stocks I've recently started adding (PHP & JCGi)

The U.S is 25- 40% overvalued

Plenty of ftse stocks are a bargain with decent yields.

The Dow Jones is around 30-45% overvalued

After buying in around the 2500p mark, i'm happy to add every month in my ISA at these levels.

BATS has money rolling in & the dividend looks safe. IMB is my largest holding at the moment ( i bought those during the pandemic slump & am happy to hold those).

I'd say BATS is another to keep adding at it's current SP range.

I've just read that New Zealand has reversed it's decision to ban smoking.

People should have a choice & not be dictated to.

I'll just keep adding at these prices & yield !

I'd expect the SP to rise as we head towards the two bigger dividend payouts & the downside for IMB is that it buys back less shares for the same money. It's a shame they didn't cease the buy backs at 1750p & then use the cash saved to pay down some debt.

Then if the SP drops again next year = buy back more shares at a lower price & repeat the cycle once again.

To be fair to Unilever, most of the other Magnum type ice cream lollies pale in comparison, and therefore should be far cheaper.

Unilever is starting to look like a buy as the share price drops below 3800p

Stocks rally with major buying (Just a couple of days before inflation figures are released) !

Bit of a coincidence that.

After looking through some income funds & their top ten holdings, i came across a fund run by a very respected manager that happens to have DEC at around 2% of it's holdings.

Can it be all that bad & is this SP just horse sh*t ?

It's always nice to see a stock that you've bought into rise, But I was hoping REDD would stay 320p or below until the new year.

Ah well !
