I do not know what price I would sell at - it all depends on drilling results at Haverion and our other targets.

I started buying around 1.6p when we had promising results from Hav, and the JV was already started. We obviously had some other good prospects - like many other junior explorers - but I came here primarily for Haverion.
My initial dream target was 10p by the end of this year.
I continued to buy up until around 8.5p.
My target was then revised to 10p by the end of this year.
Results have just gotten better and better. I really do not have a target now. I bought more at 21.5 and 22.5 - above my end of year target.

I just want to continue to see Haverion development plans and drill results, and the drill results from the other targets.
Could this go above a £, possibly - depends on the other targets and many other factors - but it won't happen quickly.
But like many others I am hoping this is life changing - not for me but for my family.

Paddy - really fascinating - I always wondered about the timing of the completion of the stages.

I thought stage 3 and the PFS would be completed long before the end of 2021.
From everything I have read, GGP do not have any liability for costs until stage 4, and are liable for their share of the Feasibility Study costs in excess of $20 million.

I am sure GH is well in control of everything, and NC must be exceeding the spend on the JV by a lot now.
The decline and camp - are these costs part of the exploration and JV or the CAPEX for the Haverion development?
I am pretty sure NC and GGP would come to agreement for GGP costs to be taken from GGP first production profits - purely because of the speed NC want this to be mined and the ore feeding Telfer - it looks like NC don't want anything to slow down this mine development.

I still think this are of the Pilbara will mirror Cadia - in lots of other resource will be found and this region will have gold and copper mining for many decades to come - hopefully a lot of the resource will be in our licensed areas!

I also hope Bamps and Hydrogen calculations are correct - I like to be optimistic, but not overly so.
I am here for the long term, will probably take some profit next year - hopefully - but have had some top ups recently.

DVH - is it possible to organise us all into a group with voting rights - think I have almost 8million shares in HL - but do not currently have voting rights or know how to get them?

OMI - have 8 or 9K in there - average is about 9 I think. Tempted to slice but working full time it is hard.
Of the 160m shares - only 80 apparently in the open market.
When you think there is potential to own possibly 20% of 10 moz - with 2 majors already onboard funding and doing all drilling - where could it go? Again will take time.

I think all these ones will peak and drop - it's knowing when to Slice!

But I bought more here today - comfier here than anywhere TBH - been too cautious - should have been moving more here when we were low teens

Sold out today - did not have a huge holding, hoping I have went somewhere with a quicker gain, really like this company and what they are doing - may be back at some point. GLA

I too found this share mentioned on another LSE billboard - think it was SML or CNR, came here and the GGP website, read, liked what I saw and started buying at about 1.5p.
I was extremely cautious due to terrible experience at SML - ongoing, and poor experience at CNR - where I am still extremely hopeful. My caution has cost me, I stopped buying on the rise at 8.5p, until more recently when I have added at 19.5/21.5 - but I'm not complaining - this has been easily my best ever investment - and I think has got a lot more to go.

I have found this billboard invaluable, and I have learned so much more about mining and minerals - not only from here but also from research I do on my own.

I never trade shares, although I can see how money can be made, and my previous investment strategy was a mixture of Blue Chip stocks (Oil - so not great at moment) and funds which have generally done very well, and a few AIM/TSX junior explorers.
I now have a lot invested in AIM/TSX, and recently took some small positions in some more Juniors - KEFI/OMI/UFO/BZT - and this week am very happy. My other long terms are GGP/CNR/SML/NSUP/, with a couple of others at small stakes BCN/AGL/RKH - only 2 have been dogs - RKH/SML. I should have bailed on these earlier. I don't know what I'll do with my 4 new ones - I don't think I am going to stay in them all, maybe stay in OMI/UFO.

But this one is my main interest. CNR I really want to see them mining, been there a while - and a bit attached there - which is a weakness.

Ipad - think we leave it up to GH to negotiate - but as long as initial drill results are good - there will be more than NC interested, but NC have the Telfer mine close by - and not having to build a mine is huge for both parties - assuming GGP intend to retain a shareholding.

Any major going for a JV will want to have a majority shareholding at the end of the JV - I would say that is pretty certain.
GGP aims must be to get max value from the JV - the Hav JV was great for both partners - but NC have came out of it by far the best - both companies have been very fortunate with the HAV discovery.

Possibly aim for 60/40 spilt at end of JV.
JV must have some sort of fair reward based on size of resource - royalty for each oz mined is good - but it could equally be a payment per Moz in MRE - to continue through the life of the mine.

The JV partner will incur a spend - but as we see with Hav - not huge - and they need to look at return on their investment - what they hope to gain.
They also have no financial return until they are mining and have recovered their CAPEX - so they would probbaly prefer something like a royalty payment per oz mined - but this should also be linked to gold price and AISC - this would lessen risk for JV partner if price of gold dropped, and be better for GGP if gold price increased.

There is also the option for GGP to do a raise and do more drilling themselves - and then sell to a major.
GGP could also offer a stake to an ambitious drilling co to do the drilling for a smaller % stake than you would have to offer to a major.

But before any of this - we need to see the drill results and the survey results. Patience is required.

Like many I'd like to take some profits from here next year, but I really don't think we will have reached full value by then.

I know quite a bit about the oil business. I had a look at the BPC presentation.
At current oil price revenue (not allowing for costs) of about $5.5m per year.
Drilling in 500 metres water depth - assuming at time of year when no weather delays - target depth around 5000 metres - budget $25m with $5m contingency - they have $11m cash, and Stena have option to buy in with $10m.

Nobody has ever proven a 1bn barrel resource with a single well. Will do very well to drill and test a single well at those depth's with that budget - needs everything to go to plan. If they find something good - will need more exploration and appraisal drilling - costs lot of money.
Would be a nice location to drill a well though.

I am much happier in mining explorers - and although have not bought any - mining majors at the moment. I have a fair amount of oil stocks - hoping for recovery when the price recovers - which eventually it will.
I think US Shale will head South at some point very quickly.

Batteries will be no good for heavy vehicles like lorries/buses - I know Tesla have developed a lorry. I agree that in the very near "green future" batteries will be the major green energy in cars - but for heavy vehicles I think they will have to make Hydrogen a an option. If they do it for heavy vehicles - it will make it's way to cars - if it is cost effective.

I do not agree at all that an RNS is badly needed.
GH has a duty to look after the interests of the shareholders and the company - and this is in the long term with the strategic vision they have outlined - not the vision of shareholders who want rapid increase in share price.
Some earlier posts have explained very well what GGP are doing.

GH - he is also banned by law and regulations from doing anything to deliberately influence the share price - this is illegal. If there was a crisis for the company, he would be allowed to state the company position, to reassure markets and investors - but there is no crisis at GGP.

MRE - I think everyone here for the long term knows the initial MRE will be conservative. It is for almost every mine, as infill and evaluation and sometimes exploration drilling continues long after the initial MRE is issued. I suspect there will be a couple of revised MRE to follow.

The MRE must be conservative, until you know how you are going to get the ore out of the ground, and how much you can economically recover.
This will require and start to be shown in the concept study Newcrest have promised.
This will be followed up the Pre-Feasibility Study required to complete Stage 3 of JV.
This will be followed up the Feasibility Study required to complete Stage 4 of JV. - this one will have the final details for going mining.

I think this is a fantatsic long term investment, based on Hav alone, then we have all the potential from our other licence areas.
I am still sat on hands and have topped up at 19.5/21.5. There will be highs and lows on the share price as we continue the GGP journey.

GLA - Stay Calm and invested - if you are really worried about your investment here - take your money and go somewhere else where you would be happier.

For me the top up price is relevant. When I top up - and it's hard - I am trying to decide if this share has more growth potential left - then others I could buy with the top up money.
The real words you need to think about are potential and risk.
GGP has potential to multibag from here - definitely 1 or 2 I think, but there is less probability of 2 than 1, and even less of 5 bagging - but it is still possible - we are an exploration company - who look like owning 30% of a tier 1 mine, with low capex required to get the ore out of the ground and through an existing mine with toll charges. .
The risk with GGP is very low - I think a 400% gain from here would be amazing. I think the chances of losing your stake - if you hold through the dips - is nil.

There are some other junior explorers out there with 1000% gain potential, but probably much higher risk - and the chances of losing some of your investment are much higher.

Simple - do your research, decide the level of risk you personally are willing to take, versus potential reward - and then buy the shares - and keep researching and monitoring your investments. Listed to the ones with negative views - do not dismiss them out of hand without taking off the rose tinted spectacles. Also ignore the blatant rampers.

I am very happy with what I have in GGP. I have taken some small stakes elsewhere. Some showing decent gains - which might go in here. Here I think a few years required to get max value - unless we are bought out.

I had a small fill order in for GGP today, cancelled and last minute and bought some more OMI at 18.3 - at long last I made a timely move on AIM!
Been in GGP for a while - very happy - with much larger stake than here. Will be delighted if this goes on same trajectory.

Personally not too concerned about this broker note - although it would be nice to see it and see how they came to valuation. Their advice is Hold - which is what I am doing, and probably correct - until more news arrives.
We are still relatively early in the move to mining Haverion, we have not seen PFS or the pre-study NC said was coming before this, or MRE.

What we have seen, for Haverion is every time there is a drilling report, the size of the reserves get bigger, and the news gets better.

For the other targets we have seen nothing yet from the latest drilling programme, and even when we do - it will only show if it is worth implementing a bigger drilling programme to firm up what is there - this is all going to take time, so those looking for huge increased gains in SP might be disappointed - I hope I am wrong. The performance in SP this year to date has been simply staggering.

I have made recent buys t 20.5/21.5 and am sitting on my hands. Posted many times - if you want maximum value from this share be prepared to wait.

I This morning - had 2.5k to invest - decided to put it in OMI. I have several speculative investments like this - if I get quick big gains - bag or above - will likely sell and put it back in here if we are still at this levels.

NC have just announced another expansion of the processing plant at Cadia to increase capacity - started open pit many tears ago then underground resource found - amazing story and mine - the underground part also developed when there was already processing mine on ground

Last time it dropped to this level I bought some more - thinking about it - but not sure. What has caused a near 10% decrease in a single morning - that is what's worrying me.
I'd almost be glad now if someone tried to buy out CNR and take this forward.

But we get results every 6 weeks - and so far the resource keeps increasing - following this logic - we may never get an updated note.
It would be more sensible to issue a revised not every 3 months based on updated results, and then only break this schedule if there was a significant change requiring valuation to be modified?
The Hamman brokers notes have been issued Mid May and Mid August, and the last one stated next catalyst likely to be the JORC resource estimate - which is in Q4 2020 now? The current SP is about 25% above their last valuation. I don't think we'll see one until MRE - unless something significant happens at Scally (valued at $100m in last note) or Haverion.
