Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
For a group of people who are so perfectly aligned in hoping to make a profit investing in the very same share, we manage to argue and disagree a lot, quite a mystery about human nature.....
Good luck Massiveray. Of course should we go to production ourselves you will be able to average down at 10p shortly. But worry not, in 7-10 years time you will finally make a profit!
@Quady, that page has been updated n November 2022, in the same week the Financial Review article came out, reported below. You may have your cognitive biases, but the reality is that the official page cannot say "we stop exploring and we stop developing" as a matter of proper institutional comms, but management has made a very explicit and different statement of intention...make that what you want, but please don't start another pendantic lecture.
The third and most significant thing to occur at SolGold since the announcement of the Cornerstone merger is the initiation of a “strategic review” that will consider “value creating alternatives” for Cascabel.
The strategic review will be run by Sangha and Citi and will consider selling part or all of Cascabel, among other options. Sangha says the strategic review heralds the end of an era where SolGold was “pretending they were going to build a block cave” mine.
It now seems far more likely that SolGold will sell part or all of Cascabel and use the proceeds to return to its core competency; greenfields exploration.
“We are going to do what we should have done six years ago; monetise this in whatever way maximises value for shareholders,” said Sangha. “We are bringing it to an end fast and smart, rather than slow and stupid.”
I suppose the relevant question, which I tried my best to address privately with Nick and with Ingo with no result whatsoever, is what was that entity created for and why it was sitting at the top of ENSA. We can speculate of course, thinking that it may be fairly obvious, but obvious is a concept that has clearly eluded us all for a few years now.
For one thing I don't see how a fast and smart strategy possibly implies waiting years and spending billions (as SOLG itself) to go to production. If that is what the company does, then BS is full of bs.
...block the regular use of a bulletin board?
1) Mentally unstable
2) Moron
3) Paid to stop a healthy conversation about SOLG
@MassiveRay, if not obvious we are aggravated enough already as it is....
Who here is the modestly self named "So-I-Was-Right" on Twitter?
That's good, isn't it?
Given the difficult history between SOLG and CGP, at some point the sharks at CGP have seen a tiny window of opportunity to take control of the company, even without a clear exit plan. They have used all the right words to make everyone believe that they are stepping in to make money smart and fast for all of us, but all they have done is for themselves, take control of the company while they figure out what to do with it.
No production, no exploration, no DFS, no comms, an issuance gifted to the Chinese for nothing.
It absolutely fits with everything we have observed and the market (non) reaction.
Not happy about it, but likely imho
If you guys are so bored, you have nothing else to do and enjoy being pedantic with each other, why don't you set up a simple, unambiguous table with those few options representing the possible outcomes, you each vote for the one you think it's going to happen, so A) we don't need to discuss it ad nauseam again, and B) one of you is going to be right on factual basis and we can tell you how clever you are.
But please, let's finish the bickering!!!!!
Not sure why folks are concerned with the lack of SOLG RNS. So far all that has made progress is on the CGP side and even there is plenty of cautionary notices and forward looking statements. When SOLG needs to report actual progress on the SOLG side there will be an RNS. Just chill.
Be my guests, top up as well!
I might buy another 100k if if keeps dropping, but to be honest this is more about averaging down and hoping I can monetize if there is a spike.
I cannot believe that this share looked promising when I first bought at 35.50!
Little top up at 8.122 for me. Best wishes to all investors!
Thank you!
@Jerry, which tweet?
Q, you don't discuss, you just constantly push the same arguments and divide the other posters in those that agree with you and those that disagree with you. It's all about you and what you think, and it's a broken record and it's tiring and pedantic.
It would be great to discuss, you perhaps think you are discussing, but since you appear to be living in your own head and world of absolute certainties, you just subject us over and over again to the same stuff.
Perhaps you have a obsessive need for validation or have some other issues, but discuss you don't.
And once again, certain posters miss the opportunity to keep their opinions to themselves.
Now, let's imagine we just don't know what is going on, and the more we postulate in absolutes and precise terms the more we are likely to be wrong, so the only one who is possibly right is the one who holds judgement until the events become clearer.
highfly, the critical question is what is step 3? If we sell and everyone gets a payoff, trust is not even in question. If step 3 is a Maxit move at the expense of the rest of us, then trust will never be earned. I am not usually binary in my thinking, but the narrative here has developed so that we PIs are cornered, can't sell because most of us are in the red, can't buy more because most of us were already maxed out and positioned for a corporate event for the last two years.
I hope alongside everyone else, but we are objectively on the receiving side of a ton of s h i t
