Re npv. It’s slightly different with an 8% discount rate And an LOM of 50-70 years , a percentage of npv would give a false value for a major.
LOM might only normally be 10 years.
Saying that 30-50% npv for Cascabel would be fine with me.
Equally any residual ownership of 10% upwards and proportion of npv paid.

You can’t buy it for a dollar though. That was May delivery. We’ve rolled to June now and that’s 14-15 as we speak.
Nobody could actually buy those low amounts unless you really had the capacity to take delivery in a few weeks time. If you want to trade the paper then it’s a spot derivative with open exposure until you close it.

A CFD on WTI for example has moved 20% just in one hour.
You will have no control over the fundamentals as the big players will control everything inc early access to news..
On top of that any trades will have to go through desks instead of electronic trading like sets etc. So you wont really know what price you will get...unless you want to pay 10k for a terminal ..I
Again like Quady says exposure through oil sensitive stocks in the best option, but personally I wouldnt touch any oil share as their is enough oil in storage to keep prices down at (20-30) for Brent until next year even if the world opens up tomorrow.

The key point for solg was \is always going to be the time period between mre 3 and pfs.
Any funding for the dfs will be conditional on the pfs. Once that funding has been legally agreed and conditions met it will be a pain for bids etc.
The amount of noise that solg is making 're funding package might well be an indicator that this is being used to draw out and maximise bids...
I still think that solg will be a producer but as a minority holder of cascabel.

're cgp...It has it's annual results to produce by end of april. What better time for solg to launch a bid for either CGP or just ensa than when the company's just said they are doing sweet fa and have no money? And prior a general meeting when solg friendly shareholders can give CGP management a roughing up.

When I registered at the weekend you can change the timezone...I changed it to gmt+1... And it dId up with 2pm local time from memory.

Interesting trading today...dma seems to be pushing it up to attract sells. So maybe a big buy in the works..

Would I be happy for a 22p raise....yes if the right company was involved i.e top 10 gold company, with management and BHP taking part....I even said on here I would be happy for Berwick at 25p.I
It matters of the shares are going to drop in the market short turn but they won't imo.

Does it really matter if the NPV goes from 130p to 118p if say Berwick comes in at 25p or 124p if they come in at 35p?

Most of the share drop occurred in summer (sp hit 22p in august). The fund raise was the end of nov. The share price wasn't hammered for the share issue, it was to do with macro Ecuador reasons, copper price falls, mining cycle for cascabel and wider mining market (falls in mining funds)...
Solg is damned if it raises many net when it doesn't need to and damned when it does..
At the end of the day it's what explorers do....they raise money to add and aid exploration.

Just enough funding to take solg through to now when a bigger less dilution option can be taken based on measured resources in a MRE

Thanks for posting that it would seem to indicate talking with boliden for partial gold offtake....they have been key in lundin unlocking their initial funding package in ecuador as they acted as a grade a off take to provide assurance for commercial facility funding.

As i said the 18-22 band will be a slow steady hand to get out of, but we are certainly banging near the top of that with buys of 21.7 earlier today.
Two big dma sell orders to over come at 21.25 and 21.5 for 250k each then most of the resistance should be gone with traders looking for new highs.

I was going to add that solg was 16p when you brought CGP. And th real CGP spread is 2.2 to 2.3. For smallish amounts. So barely 15-18% up from your 1.97 but price...
I am not saying it's bad as profit is profit and CGP might well do fantastic if solg makes say a 3.5 offer.....

I am more than happy to try and bring positive attention to this share using honest positive opinion. Being very happy when we get good news....maybe showing a little disappointment if we get a delay or bad news...

Agree they normally have two components.. A guarantee of concentrate processing of streaming at a certain price. With a we one component exit clause so that solg can exit the funding agreement but with financial penalties attached...(sometimes interested related)
Bond prices of 15-18% might be payable for higher risk developments post DFS pre build. But solg obviously arnt going down that route.
By choosing to guarantee the copper to other companies, It looks like they are a) trying to force BHP s hand and b) entice a partner to come in for the gold, this along with the mention of Berwick recently is why I suggested a tie in with Berick for a 15% slice of solg to provide funding to cover the PFS Ealmost certainly a condition of any streaming money.

It can't be coincidence that CGP via ENSA stake claim over Blanca and Nick doesn't want to give CGP anyway to use this.

It's more that they only ever latch on to the negative comments.
The skint party, the share price has no floor, etc. It's exactly the same language as professionals with an agenda.Just like the opposite pump crews.
I have complete and total understanding if this is depressi ve mentality induced, but if you generally have that mentality then AIM will eat you alive. There are some really good blue chips atm undervalued (see BHP) if you want good returns and stress free investing.
But shares like SOLG and AIM (I know solg isn't aim) are high risk high reward. You have to be able to detach from the share.
