Utter BS ..it's not about the current SP.
It's about the majority of shareholders. If the majority of shareholders care about where the SP is in 2023 then that is what the CEO will be concentrating on.
His job is not to sacrifice this for what some private investors who hold 0.01% of the company wants.
If he things holding onto news will help the majority of shareholders then so he it.
Tbh it's only the quick rich scam aim companies that try to drive the SP normally so they can get a share placing away for the corrupt pals.

BHP down a further 15% on asx ...it's not to do with production either as copper is barely down and good is rising high.

Well I am going to say open down 12-17%
I can't see much reason to sell down at that level.
A massive massive QE on the cards as Interest rates can't be cut much.
Last time we had the QE asset prices jumped as etf rose.
Oil will take longer to recover.

For not being in oil solg.
Some oil stocks already down 50% of year highs will see some very impressive falls today....
Copper down 2% overnight. Oil down 25-30% overnight.
Solg will probably have oil as it's second biggest expense after wages.

I agree that the news wait for pfs means we were\are in the downward which will pick up in anticipation of pfs release and conditional funding (planned for q2)

You can’t get funding sign off until the go nogo decision which is the end of year and completion of t he bankable FS. It’s not called bank able for no reason.
What we will get according to Solg latest is conditional funding release by June agreed from measured mre a pfs.

Yep 100% agree. I've been open about keeping at least 50% cash for the last 12 months. I have been spending quite big today. BHP Rio and some solg..It will turn back to cash shortly.
The dow will certainly be up in 12 hrs time. :)
