Yep just did a dummy at close of play 6.75 for 250k sell.
For the first time in a few days mms desperate to get shares well above the bid.
A quick run to 8p could be on the cards Monday

Half a million shares taken in 100k blocks at 6.7 this afternoon.

The mms have run out of stock and any orders dealt.

David confirmed to me directly that sandabel have no sold any shares and had committed to not selling any. It was a black and white confirmation so very believable. He also said who he thought had been selling but I don’t want to say who. Needless to say it’s somebody from the past and not involved in the current set up.

Yep 6.52 now to sell and 6.55 to buy.

Shares snapped up in the first 6 mins at 6.5 fancy that.

Just been in touch with David to clear up some of the confusions here.
Firstly the CLN has not yet been converted.
Secondly the owner of the CLN has confirmed that they are not selling at the moment and have no intention of selling at this low price in a falling share. They don't want to have any negative affect on the share price.
David's has got some thoughts as to who has been selling, but since this was only his view I don't think its right to post it on here.

Folks should remember that that the owner of the CLNs has stated to AAOG that they do not want to have negative impact on the share. My view is that they are a long term holder. Obviously if the drill comes up completely dry then all bets are off, but i don't think any shareholders believe this to be the case.

I understand but imo the conversion price is fixed when both parties agree that the loan can be converted not when the shares are actually issued. I admit a Grey area but their own broker and nomad clearly is going for this and they will have seen the contractural paperwork. Hence their figure will be right.
Strongman. It matters as they wouldn’t be selling at a loss now.
We can speculate but if we have a price as confirmed by the nomad that is 20% higher than the current price then only a fool would sell now.

A fincap note said that the price for the clns was 8.7p or something similar. Since they are the nomad and broker I would assume this was the case.

I agree. Whats happened so far and the current SP, has very little to no bearing on the SP post drill.
The only thing that will affect the SP in 2019 are the oil discoveries.

Current SP is suffering from the christmas November blues, where folks invest for christmas, hoping to get christmas covered from the winnings before the end of November. This isn't going to happen now.

Also we have, thankfully, got rid of 95% of the pump and dump brigade from august/september. Long may they make a loss. They were never invested except for a quick buck, happy for others to take the risk of the drill. Indeed hopefully now any rise post discovery should be sharper and quicker.

I've always been a fan of the geology of the African/American split, the shallow seas created and the ebb and flow should have been ideal conditions. There is certainly the scope in this region for considerable oil, far greater than the US IMHO.

If I am wrong the other side of it. Is that a massive chunk of cln shares have already hit the market and just been taken with little impact!

Firstly the price was below the conversion price. Secondly most of the buys have been below this price in the last 24-36hrs. So if it was a worked sell then the market makers would have been making a loss.
However liquidity hasn’t been strong enough to support that buy so a sell maybe 1-2m or so could be in the works.

But they are not legit questions. You will not get the mins from the Paris meeting it will be private and confidential. Almost certainly the company will be prevented from releasing the exact details.
David has said on multiple occasions and the broker note has confirmed that a substantial amount of costs will be covered. Smp will not just give a blank cheque.
Re updates the company has consistantly said they will update at each section. Again they will likely give net pay intervals. But no company in the world will give bopd figures until the hole has been readied for production and the oil is flowing.
Re news flow. Expecting a company to give a blow by blow news flow for a brake change is unrealistic.

A discussion re whether twitter should be used more extra is understandable but unless David is 100% sure about something and it’s in his control beat just be vague imho and try and set reasonable expectations.

Your comments could apply to any drill!
We know when the targets are due to be hit, we know when drilling should be resuming. We know than most do about the drill.
Anyways waiting for the pre 8am complaining crew to turn up.

Btw david was open with many yesterday inc me concerning the Paris meeting. However he got complained at when he did an interview last time and I am sure folks can wait 48 hrs for the drill recommending rns.

Why not learn it’s all about patience hard work research and timing. Rather than pumping it hard and then deramping it hard when anything happens to try and get your 6.5p buy in price.
Certain sharabejng our thr wirse in folks and this is probably one of them.
Thankfully it’s ok about the drill and oil shows and nothing else.
As fcap says, this has knocked the potential down from 40p to 38p. I do take these with a pinch of salt but no doubt a successful drill will be above the current sp by a long way.
