North of £3 I would suggest
Hard to see it reversing this trend in the short term. Not sure why the continual decline,
Is an absolute dog, 3.5% down ? I know the market didn’t like much coming from the government but why does BT always fall so low.? We are heading for £1 the way this market is manipulating certain shares. Does anyone know why ? Can’t be a shakeout of retail investors it must be something else.
Scad, I’m not buying or selling currently, I’ve held shares for many years. Don’t disagree with your general synopsis. In my opinion the market and media seem to have a very negative view. Any problems or rumours are overblown and positives are not really talked about. I’m not sure of their reasoning, but I suspect the market would like to see openreach IPO’d as it is probably worth way more than the company as a whole
Fleccy. I am not trying to be a Guru, there is only one of them on this board, just gathering an opinion or two.
One day it may even rise before going Ex D !
Every little rally in the sp is quickly knocked back. £1.50s tomorrow??
2 % down on a JV that will probably save BT CAPEX ? You couldn’t make this so called market up
“ but industrial action's will accelerate the changes”. And compulsory redundancies I think
You make far too many assumptions old thing. I am not a union member nor have I ever voted Labour. Jog on sicko
Wow ! You learn something everyday on this board. Thanks Mandy. I had no idea Sophie Raworth, George Alagiah et al were having a similar itch
He did on Sky news and on Talk TV last night. He is everywhere at the moment. You would think a boss or two from the PO or BT would be on at some point?
The cynic in me thinks the right wing media are itching for strikes. Hope they can negotiate something that’s fair to all workers.
Since you have gone to the considerable trouble to research the figures on nurses pay, I assume you know the percentage that are Band 5/6 or above ? Quoting the figures of the highest rates doesn’t make you right. Perhaps you have already worked the figures for teachers ?
Fleccy I don’t believe your example is consistent with either profession. My daughter is a teacher and she certainly can’t afford property. My wife is an ex nurse and she tells me many are struggling to make ends meet in her experience. My son is a doctor and he rents also.
Fleccy if you think teachers and nurses are doing ok, you are completely deluded
Don’t use Churchill in this Mandy, a man with Gallipoli and Irelands blood on his hands. A man who crossed the floor in the House of Commons when it suited him. Johnson is morally and ethically corrupt - you must know that.
You think Sky news want rid of him ? Who owns that company ?
Champagne socialist
Not expecting too much on Tuesday. Reckon I can move quicker than you old thing. Enjoy your Chop Suey, sleep well
Don’t be daft Mandy. Roll out of fibre is doing very nicely thank you. This company cannot be taken over, HMG won’t allow it, especially by foreign investors. Security is sacrosanct
Fleccy do you think it’s partly due to Drahi being neutered by HMG ?
Any ideas why the steady drip south ?
