RE: Sell on decision or wait until buy out?9 Dec 2021 16:14
Seems a given here that this concession will be granted in the very near future. Whilst it would be welcome, I don't 'count my chickens'.
Peeps usually only think about how much 'I can make' but seldom 'about the downside.' Now that we've got double figures on the bid I've sold a few already and as, or if, the SP continues to rise I'll continue. If BEM is granted the concession, initially it could be difficult to make a trade, liquidity issues are already evident.
Talk of BEM selling out or a JV weeks after a 'yes' is somewhat premature imo, there's a few more hoops to jump through yet. Not least the inevitable Sami objections followed by the drawn out appeal.
All that aside, If the environmental code is as clear and concise as the granting of an exploitation concession then we'll all be here for sometime more anyway, lol.
When the environmental court gets hold of it at least they'll be outside of the government remit, and they do set the mining operation conditions. I believe permits are granted under the environmental code, so providing we follow the environmental court that part should be a formality.
Another point, I'm sure Budge would want to take advantage of a higher SP to fundraise just like the rest of us.
Just saying.
