Have updated the list for fun and weâve now gone to 21 from the original 10.
1. The Long and Silent types.The invested who donât post. Usually long term holders.
2. The Altruistic types.The invested who post research. Usually long term holders, but not always. Generous to a fault and make the board swing.
3. The Invisibles. The invested who like to trade a bit and donât post. They assess the mood of the board to inform their trading decisions and the research posted by others, plus their own research.
4. The Enthusiasts. The invested who donât trade and post occasionally, keen to understand or assist. Or are keen to ensure good order and respect as the basis for shared progress. Donât always offer mining or financially based expertise (me)
5. The Foggers. Traders who post regularly and whose postings create ambiguity or, worse, hype that confuses or pumps to suit their own agenda
6. The Learners. Usually new traders who post once or twice and get shot down or challenged when trying to seek thoughts or opinions
7. The Puppydogs. Those who post without any reason, often looking to mirror the thoughts of others or to support those views. Often swept up by the board mood and wagging or barking.
8. The Shysters. Misanthropes who are sent this way to create mischief.
9. The Cynical. Anybody who pretends to be more acquainted with the truth than they can back up, or begins to take against fellow posters for fun.
10. The Rude. Well, there are one or two.
11. The Troll Hunter. Investor whose interest and energy is aroused by a rampant desire to splat the grubby naysayer known as a Troll. (For Troll please also refer to Type 8.
12. The Turner. One that canât take the waiting. Decides to turn on other posters, taking issue with posts that donât need taking issue with.
13. The Furious. About almost anything.
14. The Deeply Misunderstood. Either not cherished enough, not listened to properly, or make points that they see clearly but few others do.
15. The Sense Maker. One who sets out to clarify their understanding. Supported by generous number 2s (Altruists). Could use www.ggphelp
16. The Telegrams. Those who look for more info than LSE can offer, either pictures, maps, Level 2, emojis, or visuals.
17. The Bored. Nothing happening, need to say so.
18. The SP Quoter. Sometimes quote the SP in an incredulous way.
19. The News Reader. One of hundreds who share their excitement when great news RNSâs appear and rightly wants to celebrate. (If youâre one of these, stay close. Thereâll be whooping opportunities at least 4 more times this year)
20. The Gambler. Often arrives asking if the SP will go up two or three times as they fancy a punt and this has had a lot of press
21. The Bamps. A grandfatherly figure whose presence on th21. the board brings incalculable knowledge using impenetrable calculations leading to evidence of unimaginable wealth.
