Tom Winnifrith, Yes, even MyHealthChecked (MHC) where I am a shareholder should have its shares suspended. The reason is a webpage which went live yesterday and which is now being widely discussed on social media which seems to show that the Government is soon to announce contracts worth £8 billion for covid test suppliers. This is going to cause share price mayhem on Monday.

Why tweet “get your free tests” if your competitors are making them and not you ?

I agree, every company making tests will do well. Omega will sell everything they make for a very long time.

We deserve the big rise after all the frustration of watching others win tenders and hanging in here, which has been very hard.

We don’t even know who’s test we are making and how much profit we will make.

They’ve not got the government contract yet so let’s not include that. If the deal with screen4 was so good then they’d give potential revenue.
No institutional investors in Omega and directors sales, rather than get nasty, tell me you’re not the least bit concerned ?
Not one hedge fund is backing Omega, and you know more than them?

No wonder expected revenue wasn’t mentioned.
We need a government deal.

I agree, I’m in here but this isn’t great news. Before ODX quoted for the deal they must have known the potential revenue, but don’t share that with us.
There could have been a statement saying “the revenue from this contract could be as high as ...”

Like it or not, the reason Omega didn’t mention the potential value of the contract is because it’s not big.

The question is, how much revenue is this initial three year deal worth ?
