The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I agree with you PP1 big issue is people's mental health and how these posts effect people specially if people are over exposed and loosing money.
i noted that yesterday morning, Buys at one point 2 to 1 and the MMS kept dropping the price. Its a very manipulative game at the moment
BTW, Some sick people getting off from the misfortunes of investors... How sad
I understand SCB frustration and yes i am a long term holder and this is my biggest holding out of 22 stocks.
IMHO, I would have thought that a rights issue would be the way to go if they needed money but knowing how the brokers work, It would be a placing for the city boys, But until then, Boo have the RCF to use.
I don't see his comments as ramping, I am in this company at what i thought was a cheap, Not so wise now looking at the SP, But the way the SP is now, Its one for the bottom draw.
I did Email the company IRs 2 months ago...
Here is the reply
Thank you for the note and concern.
As you may know the entire fintech/ technology industry has experienced share price depreciation as the broader market has sold out of high growth / tech names in preference of staples. Since our time of listing July 2021, Wise LN is down ~55% and ~49% YTD, this compares to industry peers Paypal is down 72% and 56% since July 2021 and YTD respectively, Remitly Global down 50% YTD to name a few.
Seeing the share price today compared to when we listed in July is hard for us too. However, we take a long term outlook and see this merely as broader market frictions. Since the time of our listing Wise has increased our guidance and also beat that guidance, continuing to be profitable and growing both our customer base and internally growing with hiring. We anticipate our revenue to be up ~30% this year.
Hope this helps
Many thanks,
Wow, 71 posts on a Saturday lol. Good for investors, non investors you need to get a life.
Remember back in the 70s when the UK had a big marketing campaign, .made in the UK, maybe the UK manufacturing should look at something similar and try and change the mindset of people buying clothing from China.
Maybe it's Camelot who are selling a few to buy back cheaper, you can't trust these hedge funds
Founded in 2015, Camelot Capital Partners is a hedge fund manager based in Laguna Beach, California. The firm employs equity multi-strategy, equity fundamental and credit multi-strategy investment strategies with a focus on long bias, value and quantitative style investing
- a raise does not automatically mean a dilution - alternative methods also exist.
This is the kind of comments that causes a concern, if a placing happens, city boys get to take part in a placing, the company issues new shares and holders like you get diluted...
People ramp for a reason and that's to try and create a FOMO , issue is, these rampers disappear once a placing takes place.
So are the people ramping this company, how many times have people said that their will be no placing and it's happened, how much dilution are you going to accept. ? And what damage to the SP, bids getting ramped for a reason and in the past, not good reasons hence today's SP
Placing, not another one.... 7 million revenue supposed to be the target back in 2019 or something along those lines. What's happening about Andrew house,. Is he still around... Sub 1p soon
They called this wrong London's FTSE 100 was down 0.15%... down around 1.5%. Thanks for the update thou
Today's video from JKR talks about timing the market, it's not only boo that is down, but most stocks.
Trying to time the market is impossible and day traders will end up loosing out, the only way to win is to buy good companies for the long term, if you do that, you will be rewarded. Boo imo will take about 3 years to turn around and listening to the webinar, I think that's about right.
Short term, it's impossible to say where the shares price will be,.
Hope these links work after a quick reply

Your boss will be happy since your getting paid by them
What side of the fence are you on, not been reading posts that often on here but your sounding positive on Boo just like you did over a year ago. ?
I have emailed investors relations. Will post the link if I get it.
As anyone the link for the investor presentation ?
Thanks in advance
I was chatting with someone a few months ago who is a personal friend to the boss off boo, he asked a question on my behalf regards concerns about the shorts, the reply back was, they are operating a business, they make money when the SP is going up and they make money why the SP is on its way down, his main concern was running the business and trying to get everything right after covid but since then the war had happened
Interesting article on shorts if the link works https://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/article/why-do-fund-managers-lend-stock-to-short-sellers
