@TheLord1. Totally agree. Metals One will need the cash given their own raise and loan in Dec. This is what always frustrated me with the MET1 deal. It was really good for them and I thought we gave far too much away. They have nearly 75% of their cash investment back and I can see them selling throughout to fund their other projects.

I’ve now assumed that some on here must be on glue. Waiting for the post that details in a dozen paragraphs why we are fully financed, our shares are worth 70p and there will be an offtake agreement this month. 🤣

I’m expecting a lithium price pull back, certainly in the short term, once CATL get their Jianxiawo mine up and running again. Been shut since August but looks permit news is expected early-mid Feb.

100% @Blonde-ad. The end of Jan quarterly report will at least give a snapshot as to end of ‘25 cash position.

Current share price has also been restrained by the lacklustre DFS, botched ASX release, and last minute EIA submission. Lithium price tick up is the only thing stopping this from flapping around in the low teens - no matter how much the critical strategic blah blah is regurgitated.

An off take or cash raise announcement changes that in different directions - but which one will it be?

Hoping that the outstanding legal action can be resolved swiftly. I appreciate that it’s technically a different entity to the CEOL application and that no update could be given on the latest investor meeting. Critical negotiation period coming up post expected CEOL award and PFS release. Be good to have no (bad) surprises. Good surprises welcome.

@Ayecuramba, thanks. Yes, that was the sequence of events. Good to see the $0.20 ASD level achieved before the CEOL award though!

Worth noting that one of the general requirements for an ASX listing (if it is still the plan) is for the stock to trade above $0.20 ASD on admission. Sustaining above 10p is also a key price point in that regard.

Comparing apples and pears Darien, and unwise to do so. Completely different extraction techniques on opposite sides of the world. That’s before we get into the different business structures and financing. Nice try ;)

@hammertimes, nothing simpler than reading the RNS’s, the investor presentations and listening to the company interviews readily available. The company has very good comms IMO.

Friday pm RNS was unexpected! Good to see it finally land. At least we now have a little more fact and a little less fiction.

Yes, struggling to imagine a good reason why we don’t have an RNS by now. Expecting it to get spicy on here, particularly from those expecting 70p and no new year cash raise. Let’s hope it can remain at least relatively civil. We wait.

First CTL post. Long time reader and periodic holder. Genuine question for those smarter than me. The Metals One investment was always a concern for me. Given their performance in recent months and particularly after today’s market reaction - any risk for CTL moving forward? I assume there is no ongoing financial obligation other than their share holding?
