However I think they are so ideologically involved rational thinking left the cerebral sphere a long time ago, Rutte the unelected head of NATO is already declaring a further 100 billion is required for the Ukraine on top of the 90 billion they already don’t have?

Where will this come from not from his ass but in all seriousness IMV NATO and the EU are now all in they have no off switch they purely see escalation.

The 90 billion loan covers roughly ONLY two-thirds of Ukraine's needs for 2026–2027 from EU calculations at least half is needed for services never mind defence.

By the time the 90 billion money the EU do not have ever arrives (and probably never will) it will be too late they need to manufacture/make weapons these are not available for purchase the US is not able to keep up demand for it's own war and Europe does not have the manufacturing capacity.
