Guitarman. 2 billion shares is around 5% of total shares in issue and using market cap of £40 million means total buy trades of £2 million or an an average of only £2,000 for a thousand PIs. In reality it’s less because market cap was only £25 million before the spike started.

No doubt IIs will stay under 3% so they don’t give the game away.??

What institutional investor will buy a stock where the Chairman leaves with immediate effect and a week later none of the 3 non execs has stood in on an interim basis?

No evidence of IIs buying just lots of retail PIs from what I can see.

Your calculation are simply wrong and ignore the fact that Tradeflow vendors will be paid additional consideration depending on revenue targets being met either in cash or shares at SYME’s option above initial £7 million of consideration.

So TF don’t need SYME share price to hit 3.3 pence to break even.

Tradeflow are remunerated on size of funds under management not trade volumes processed so headline numbers don’t translate straight to Tradeflow revenue. True more volumes may help the profit incentive of 15% once hurdle interest paid to investors is paid.

I will wait until accounts when scale of Tradeflow business should be revealed.

AZ deliberately keeps Tradeflow funds size private for a reason.

We know that in first half of 2021 Tradeflow revenues were £272,000 see 31 August RNS and you can find online
that Tradeflow fund fee rate is 1.5% which works out at funds of around $40 million at that time which has increased by $40 million as previously announced.

So why if funds under management are now $1 billion a ten fold increase why haven’t SYME issued an RNS announcing that material fact?

SYME announced DP Cargoes, Baltic Exchange and ICC deals why not a 10 fold increase in fund size.

I didn’t start the name calling but I will desist myself.

I am not trying to vilify Guitarman just debating this share’s many negative points. He seems very optimistic about SYME’s prospects despite their poor track record on delivery. I am sure he is a lovely guy but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with his views or vice versa.

BanjoBoy if Tradeflow funds were $1 billion that would be $15 million of revenue before any profit commission which would fix SYME’s cashflow problems.

The only issues are that Tradeflow are currently around under $100 million.taking into account extra $ 40 million funds raised and second if Tradeflow do grow massively there is a very large contingent consideration payable which SYME will have to pay in shares because they don’t have the cash.

Tradeflow is still the best part of the SYME group.

Tradeflow is worth a multiple of over 20 times it’s revenue and this supports SYME’s current market cap.

Averaging down has only worked for me when it is a general market slump and then in quality companies. Averaging down on very poorly performing shares is usually a way of throwing good money after bad. I’d shares bounces back you will get your money back albeit less rapidly than if you averaged down

Perhaps AZ is lining up a monster IM RNS for 2nd year anniversary to reward LTHs

Jim Coyle left with immediate effect and with no long term or even interim chair was announced.

Hardly indicative or a planned change.

No planned handover.

It’s the second chairman to leave abruptly.

It’s not uncommon in such circumstances to provide a bland reason that is acceptable to both sides.

Jim as a Director of major U.K. bank is subject to both PRA and FCA scrutiny and he can’t.afford to tarnish his reputation or he will lose those roles and clearly circumstances at SYME have made him leave in a hurry and no IM has yet landed.

We all know that AZ likes to put a positive things on RNS statements.

I suspect that SYME will need to increase its authorised nominal share capital in next few months to accommodate share issues due under Mercator because at current levels it will run out of authorised share capital headroom.
