A week or two delay doesn’t matter for Long Term Holders.

For traders it depends on how good their timing or luck was.

In long term it is strong delivery on a valid strategy with a strong underlying business model that drives share price.

The evidence since IPO for 28 months is that AZ is poor at delivery but perhaps he will get better.

Deal was promised in July it’s now August so there was a delay.

A weeks delay in long run shouldn’t matter but you can’t even seem to acknowledge even a minor valid factual criticism of SYME without making up excuses for AZ.

A small deal in Phoenix terms but as they say should be pretty easy to integrate as already use same policy administration outsourcer.

Nice to see Phoenix active in deal space again.

They were issued Venus as part of setting up the deal and the first three tranches of the mandatory offer.

More will get issued of Venus has to take any Open Offer shares.

My understanding is that each item of inventory will recorded in the blockchain as a NFT, think the equivalent of a digital stock certificate but additional security over the record that comes from being in the blockchain. It will have a value assigned to it represented by an amount of VeChain Stable coin. The stable coin is apparently 100% collateral backed by US dollars deposited as a separate Trust business thus hoping to avoid price fluctuations and falls that have afflicted other crypto prices which aren’t collaraterallised with fiat currency.

Clients of SYME can redeem the NFT when they buy back inventory and can buy and Stable Coins at crypto exchange for the equivalent in US dollars.

Nice and easy to understand as opposed to a straightforward loan from a bank on your inventory in the currency of your choice.

Your right that supply and demand drive a share price but shares can rise or fall on even small volumes especially shares in smaller cap stocks which have less liquidity than than FTSE 250 and often driven heavily by market sentiment.

For instance if majority of holders believe that company is undervalued and hold on to shares new investors buying in will drive up price even on small volumes. The contrary is true if people are unenthusiastic about a share and don’t want to buy more, and then even a small number of sellers can drive price down until buyers can be found at new lower price by market makers.

One large buy order can be met via numerous small sells and vice versa.

My comment was that SYME can’t manage to update for key Board appointments 4 weeks after they occurred and more than 6 weeks after they were announced in an RNS.

The website is key window to potential investors and being so poor in keeping it updated for significant events is just more evidence (if any were needed) of a poorly run company.

Surely it should be able to add 2 photos and a bit of blurb about the Chairman and another Director more quickly than this?

Hopefully price will respond to these set of strong interims.

Outlook looks solid as well with largely capped or fixed interest rates and inflation protection on rents and SEGRO looks a good hold for me.

I see that SYME still hasn’t managed to update its website for the new Chairman and new independent Director appointed on 30 June and which they knew about for even longer as appointments were announced in RNS on 6 and 13 June.

Not very impressive and people wonder why they struggle to deliver on IM.

SYME is valued at £33 million or 66 times last annual reported revenue, it had net liabilities and wrote off its intangible asset being it’s technology platform because it couldn’t justify the carrying value.

Even Cathie Wood wouldn’t buy this company and she loves loss making technology stocks promising huge returns although she is having a spot of trouble at present.

Over two years past IPO and still no technology investor has backed this so called platform business.

I suggest that AZ buys a few black polo neck sweaters like Elizabeth Theranos to get the Steve Jobs vibe going.
