Rockrose Energy are the place to be right now. Mcap less than £100m, recent acquisition will boost production to around 11,000 - 12,000 boepd, huge cash pile, safer jurisdiction, in high demand as seen by new daily highs that continue week after week.

I wonder if Providence PVR has stolen the spotlight in the past week or two? It's more than 70% up and analysts have targets of 50p or more. Increased risk of course but damn I wish I had known more about that whilst it was at 10p lol

Fundamentals here continue to strengthen with each passing day.

I can't see this project advancing to BFS, secured financing and construction in the next 12 months. I've watched CNR and KEFI since 2009 and whilst CNR was my favourite in terms of drilling prospects, KEFI changed tack and acquired a gold project in Africa that was at an advanced stage in the cycle. They have since sorted funding that will see KEFI producing in 2020-21 whilst retaining their original gold venture. Both jurisdictions look more attractive than Nicaragua right now. If political and social unrest hadn't happened it may be a different story but whilst it persists I wouldn't expect any serious major financing institution to take a risk with CNR. Which begs the question why hold and wait when investors can make money on gold producers like HGM, AAZ, CEY and possibly HUM in the next 3-4 months (we wait and see)

26.75 seems a fair price to top up :)

Outlook

Avingtrans is a niche engineering market leader in the Energy and Medical sectors. Recent acquisitions (particularly that of HTG) will afford investors another opportunity to build enduring value with us in a rich seam of engineering market niches. We will continue to be frugal and seek to crystallise value and return capital when the timing is right, as part of our successful PIE strategy.

The Group is now focused on investing in its three new divisions in the global energy and medical markets, to position them for maximum shareholder value via eventual exits in the years to come. To this end, it was essential that the integration and restructuring following the acquisition of HTG was both quick and clinical, allowing the management team to concentrate on profitable future growth.

The energy divisions have a strong emphasis on both the nuclear and off shore Oil & Gas markets, both of which are showing signs of regeneration. The medical division continues to focus on high integrity components and systems for leading medical, industrial and scientific equipment manufacturers.

To drive short term profitability and market engagement, all divisions have clear strategies to support end-user aftermarket operations, whether by servicing their own equipment or that of third parties, to capitalise on the continued drive for efficient, reliable and safe facilities.

We are not unduly concerned by Brexit, since our direct EU exposure is rather limited and we have taken some initial evasive action in our supply chains, with likely further such actions to follow, depending on the exact nature of the Brexit deal. Similarly, US government tariff change risks have been largely mitigated by an agile supply chain response and we will continue to monitor this situation closely.

As markets continue to recover, M&A activity remains strong and businesses like ours can command high valuations at the point of disposal, as was perfectly exemplified by the Sigma sale previously. At Avingtrans, we are confident about the current strategic direction and potential future opportunities across our markets and sphere of influence. We will continue to hone our business by pinpointing specific additional acquisitions as the opportunities arise, to invest and build businesses that we expect to attract premium valuations.

With an eye on eventual exits, we have restructured the Group into two separate energy divisions and an incubator medical division. A highlight of FY2018 was the speedy and successful integration of the substantial Hayward Tyler Group acquisition. The new Energy divisional structures and management teams have become effective quickly and their focus is clearly on growth, to build two formidable and valuable divisions. The nascent medical division made slower progress, though we have galvanised our strategic path by partnering on service with MR Resources Inc.

We are nurturing an unswerving focus on aftermarket opportunities, as we service end-user customers with fast, local and flexible solutions, resulting in strong growth prospects. Nuclear life extension and decommissioning markets also continue to provide fertile ground for growth, underpinned by contract wins in the UK, USA, South Korea and mainland Europe. However, we are mindful of avoiding over-dependence on nuclear and thus, we are developing into new markets, such as renewables with (eg) funding from the DoE in the USA for future generation solar plants. Financial Highlights

· Revenue increased by 247% to £78.9m (2017: £22.7m), driven by HTG acquisition

· Underlying revenue growth, excluding acquisitions was 10.9%

· Improved Gross Margins at 25.5% (2017: 17.9%)

· Adjusted EBITDA increased by 690%, to £5.7m (2017: £0.7m)

· Adjusted Profit before Tax increased by 820%, to £2.4m (2017: £0.3m)

· Adjusted Diluted earnings per share increased to 8.4p (2017: 1.1p)

· Cash outflow from operating activities £6.9m (2017: £3.3m)

· Net Debt was £7.1m (31 May 2017: net cash of £26.4m)

· Increased final dividend of 2.3p per share (2017: 2.2p). Full year 3.6p (2017: 3.4p)

Operations
The Group's main activity is the manufacture and sale of injection and blow moulded plastic packaging operating primarily within the food, household, drink, confectionery, cosmetic and toiletry sectors. They offer "niche or custom manufacture" to major players like McBride, Proctor & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, SC Johnson, and Unilever. In addition the Group also has a substantial property portfolio with development potential.

The company employs around 310 people at it's base in Chesterfield and across multiple manufacturing facilities in the UK and Poland.

Fantasy - check my previous posts this week, ODEY had a long running short position here and increased it throughout the year as the share price fell to leverage against the
1) weakening share price
2) dilution

Their entire stake and short position was dumped at the very bottom

As for Lanstead they might just want to sell into current market demand, of which there is plenty. Perhaps KEFI does not fit their investment criteria or they know of other opportunities that offer greater risk/reward. With ODEY out perhaps they too want to cut losses and be done with this stock regardless of potential from 2020-2021. Or they may be lining up for the next placing and so selling into current strength is a win win (placements are normally discounted). I don't believe KEFI are free of dilution yet, but 10-15% dilution at this stage won't matter in a couple years time assuming we are in production and achieving forecasts :)

As seav1ew mentioned, there were less than £7k of trades and the MMs dropped it steadily from 4.2 to 3.9 before the sudden plunge to 3.2p. Nobody could have predicted that would happen on such low volume and it looks to me like it gapped down without reason hence why I bought back in at 3.4p.

Everyone must do what's best for themselves, goodness knows we aren't given much relief here now thanks to all profits being channeled towards the growth of Tap Pay.

I'm surprised this call is coming true. Silver may now have bottomed. The charts are looking strong, especially after the mid-day rally precious metals enjoyed today.

I meant to add weakening the company in this manner leaves it somewhat easier to wind up. Sibanye are after only one thing and Lonmin have very little left in the way of leverage from what I can see.

Well I hope shareholders are rewarded.

Strikes me as odd that terms agreed with Sibanye to acquire all of Lonmin will be voted for once Lonmin have disposed of a number of high value assets at discounted prices. It looks like Sibanye are getting less than what they bargained for as these sales look pretty low and are clearly being rushed through. Surely it would suit Sibanye to take their time securing better value when the right suitor comes along?

The cynic in me thinks this is just a way of weakening Lonmin's portfolio, so that in the event of the vote going against shareholders here, there is very little else they can do. I won't pretend I know enough about this situation but I would be extremely wary of buying unless putting money on red or black is your sort of thing.

@pokerchips I respectfully disagree with the reply you left me. My point was not whether there is reasoning behind the comments but rather the incendiary nature of the remarks that high ranking EU officials continue to make without substance (as you rightly pointed out). Of course flights originating from the British isles won't be prevented from landing in the EU. That is ludicrous. Yet these remarks are coming from the top of the EU gravy train and quite clearly a disgrace. Watch and see, flights will continue to run. Remarks of this nature have been made long before the referendum, much of the antipathy directed at the EU is at the elite who remain to this day, untouchable

Clearly the EU is a complex beast. As a British citizen I don't think the people of our country need it's influence as much people of certain other countries, especially those with histories of far right governments / military coups.

Portugal and Spain and Greece, I am looking at you.

I resent comments by EU officials that openly threaten the future of our economy. You don't see the German Chancellor or French President talking about planes not being able to land. All that crap is coming from Brussels and it's a disgrace. The countries inside the EU should voice their opposition to how we as country are being treated as a result of voting to leave the EU. It was the people's choice and yet these few in charge are dictating their own rules to punish us. They obviously want to stop other states from leaving too. It's reminiscent of how defectors are treated or criminals are punished. What ever happened to respecting the will of a nations people?

I think the EU could work if it was smaller, nations like Germany and the Netherlands with France and a couple others should leave and form a separate economic area, allow the Euro to devalue and create a fairer platform in order to improve the lives of the people living in the weaker EU member states. Greece has been suffering for years and without meaningful change the same will happen to Portugal and possibly Italy and Spain further down the line. Look at the rampant unemployment. It's not getting better.

Are LTH's not concerned about recent asset sales

I thought I made clear yesterday I bought back some stock. There's no harm averaging down if the market was looking weak at 4p+ which it was as the results did not come in as expected. If you want to blame anyone, aim that towards the board. They embarked on Tap Pay which is where all the profits have gone.
