I thought we might raise cash soon around 0.34 - 0.35 but have been struck by recent share price weakness. Calidus is steady and that has a bigger effect than the gold price, or at least it should do. I wonder if there is a placing being organised and some large shareholders were invited to participate, but in so doing have reduced their holding at this level knowing they can buy in cheaper.

13p based on what though? What % will KEFI retain in the project? What will the inevitable company level dilution look like and how many more shares added to the register? Right now the stock looks cheap because KEFI have control over the asset but in this game it is usually the people with the money who can strike the best deal. Assuming they raise multiples of the share price, there is absolutely no chance this stock will rise to 13p. You're much more likely to see 1.3p because the the number of shares in issue will have tripled or quadrupled etc. This I believe is the reality short term. Further out, once the dust settles and the mine becomes operational, assuming there are no unforeseen problems then I believe there is a good chance we will begin to see a rerate. But I think we both know this won't happen overnight. I'll be waiting to invest once it's clear how much KEFI retain of the project and the size of the equity raise. On the project economics I agree it's an interesting one and may well grow to rival CMCL and SHG in time.

An excellent buying opportunity today if you ask me. We know production is expected to be top end following last quarters somewhat disappointing figures and despite the basket being weaker output is set to increase rapidly. This will have a knock-on effect on group costs so I would still think margins will be better than last time around. Like you said nothing is catching Rhodium right now and the uncertaintly surrounding LMI must be adding to concerns over supply. Never thought I would pay 19.1 here but I did lol and I won't be selling for a loss *touch wood

This is a highly competitive industry, so a result like today is normally a positive sign! That being said I'd expect MLVN to continue making losses and require additional funds later this year.

A dose of reality here. There is going to be some heavy dilution at possibly project and almost certainly company level in order to get this project through mine construction and initial revenue generation. Factor in the annual loan servicing costs too and that amounts to equity value being heavily diluted. Nobody knows how heavy it will be at this stage by saying this stock is heading to 13p and later 22p is pure fantasy. So much uncertainty going forward, this is highly speculative and going by the past 6 years I wouldn't expect a sudden change in sentiment.

Yes bodes well for the new year! I think the political shift is going to have huge positive ripple effects for growing companies like MBO and more importantly perhaps how investors perceive investments. The political risks have weighed on the country for years but finally we might see more confidence in the Ringgit. As you say news concerning Tap n Pay update will be much anticipated. Not long to wait :)

I too missed that until I scanned the Annual Results PAYMENT OF DIVIDENDS The final dividend for the year ending 31 December 2016 in the amount of US$22.6 million was paid on 12 May 2017. The Group paid an interim dividend of GBP 0.0498 per share in respect of H1 2017 (2016: interim dividend of GBP 0.050 per share) which resulted in an aggregate interim dividend payment of US$21.3 million (2016: US$19.8 million). The interim dividend was paid on 3 October 2017. The mass sell off happened in the days leading up to STEL being suspended. The share price dipped to 0.0525 at one point, check the trades. The NWF share price is approximately 15% higher. People were forced to sell their holdings in the final days at those levels but anyone holding now can sit and wait for better things. Or sell and make a quick buck but given NWF have never looked such good value I doubt there will be much of a sell off

$0.175 share price would be a decent open 0.7622 New NWF Shares for each STEL share I think my 143,768 STEL shares (�9,302.68 avg 0.065p) become 109,579 NWF shares If the share price is $0.15 then those shares are worth $16,437 (�9,132) roughly equivalent to 0.0635 If the share price is $0.175 then those shares are worth $19,176 (�10,654) roughly equivalent to 0.074 If the share price is $0.20 then those shares are worth $21,916 (�12,176) roughly equivalent to 0.0847 I believe these are accurate and are based on the current AUD / GBP exchange. Maybe I am just optimistic but once those STEL shareholders in profit exit I don't see much reason to be a seller in the current NWF market. The shareholder will be trading at a depressed level and having completed this acquisition on the cheap and a cash raise there should be a lot of confidence in the shares and the future of the projects. No doubt there will be UK investors happy to flip a quick profit but once they are out there isn't such an easy way back in for the vast majority.

Are you saying Jolly has lost his touch now lol? I believe the discount is to do with the shares split. According to LSE DWHT trades with 8.4 million shares but that's actually the total DWHA and DWHT stock. There are about 3.3 (39%) million ordinary shares (DWHT) and about 5.1 (61%) million 'A' non-voting ordinary shares. Normally the company buying back 'A' shares is a good sign the stock is cheap compared to the ordinary shares and historic trend analysis will highlight this 15-20% range is common place when such an event happens. DWHA stock is discounted by more than 30% currently, quite unheard of in recent years. If you feel DWHT is well supported and will continue to climb then this is a no brainer from here

Hey comeonvog, AVGs acquisition was unfortunately under bad circumstances with HAYT heading towards insolvency (if they had not been able to raise new funds). The balance sheet is now much healthier under AVG thankfully although nothing too exciting in the Interims but we are expecting the shares to go ex-dividend 25 May. Personally feel STEL are in a much better position which should reward those of us who can hold. There's undoubtedly going to be a squeeze when NWF comes out of suspension just reading some of the messages here and the company correspondence but they have taken STEL's highly lucrative assets and raised a substantial amount of cash. Volatile times ahead but ultimately a lot of money and support behind this move. If you have spare coin check out KRS which holds a substantial holding in Calidus, an aussie gold explorer with strong institutional backing and a growing list of significant drilling intercepts. Think it's going to creep higher this summer, huge drilling campaign underway.

I think it's worth pointing out that after NWF come out of suspension UK holders with AJBell won't be able to buy NWF stock unless their it's a substantial sum. They will however be able to dispose as and when they like. So selling your golden tickets is a one time thing for most small private investors. I'm not sure what the rules are like with IG. Either way I suspect holders here will be able to sell for 0.20+ in the months ahead but agree with the poster below that it may take a couple weeks or months before fair value is attained.
