Thou shalt not mention SXX or fraiser or potash or 'world class' or.. Well anything.. I was well engrained into SXX, I remember my joy when watching the council meeting live and they passed permission for it... I thought I was going to make a fortune, my wife even reminds me of it as I made her watch the planning meeting with me..

Just to then watch it go straight down the toilet..
SXX and NTOG nearly ending my 20+ years of investing... Cost me a fortune ha.

They are why I look for pitfalls in every investment now and why I have so little consideration.for managment..
. SXX had a managerial dream team that 'never fails'....

Well we were fining well until that big sell off, we might not even end the nasdaq positive.

Big boys taking lunch money again. In hindsight that nasdaq listing has absolutely screwed us, we would of been a heck of a lot higher if we stuck to lse and just done a normal share issue, probably would of got a better price too as we have flt the full force of the dilution without decent recovery.

I think the nasdaq was more a badge for the management to wear.

Maybe one day it will behave nicely but so Dr all its done is damaged this stock.

And then there's this for emerging growth companies which is based around initial earnings released.

It goes from a simple 40 days into 25 for some and potentially less based on conditions. At that point I just kinda thought.. Oh well I'll see what tomorrow brings.

The JOBS Act did away with research period quiet periods for EGCs, allowing research analysts to publish reports after the initial earnings release even if it falls within 25 days of the IPO. The Act defines EGCs as companies with less than $1 billion in revenue in their most recent fiscal year.1

I saw the sec stating the 2nd Nov but I've also seen other things saying the 18th Oct.

I think we have quiet and not so quiet levels..

The quiet period begins when the registration statement is made effective and lasts for 40 days after the stock begins trading and is for analysts employed by the offering's managing underwriters and 25 days for analysts employed by other underwriters participating in the IPO

I saw the interview where buffet spoke about bitcoin, he's not a believer because he 'doesn't get it' I have watched different seminars of his and he is quite open about only investing in things he understands, likes to use his farm analogy.

Buffet has no need to invest in btc and has no compulsion to learn about it. He worked for his mo ey and made sine great choices and by his own ommision he made some really bad choices that he kicks himself for today (missed opportunities)

He was good at what he did back in the days, he speaks well and explains things in simple terms.. Still, really not my sort of investor

Now there's a sure element of truth in that, but it also depends what you see as a bubble and also your exit strategy. Catching a bubble right and selling out at the right time can make you very wealthy, lottery winning wealthy.

Quite ironically I sold out of Shell at 1300p to invest here, so far I would of done a lot better staying put in Shell but at the time it was dead on its feet just stagnating for ages.

I see that sort of scenario as an all bets off kind of thing, who knows where the shareprice would end up. Although unlikely its far from impossible, but someone with deep pockets like that may well want to own the whole company and assets, that wouldn't then be such a good thing for us mere mortals.

Ehh? It's not being negative its a statement of fact as far as I know it.

You can't kit out Helios 800mw with us fully owning the rig by issuing 100 mil shares unless the share price is around £10 per share.

It's not a negative statement, there are some on here that do not seem to appreciate just how many rigs and how much it costs for the rigs to kit out 100mw let alone 800mw.

Have you seen any of my posts where I say that I believe 1.7eh as planned this year is valued I'm my opinion at 230p per share?

I'll be quite open about it, I don't particully care about the company or the btc movement, or argo going green or PW or any of the board members. I only care about picking a share that's going to make me money so I can then sell that share and do the same again until I have made enough money that I don't need to really think about money for the rest of my life.

It's not about being positive or negative it's about trying to get as much information and difference of opinion so that I can form my own opinion.

I cannot buy into dome of the crazy things that are said here when the fact is btc has gone up 50% since the IPO and we are at a lower price than before the IPO. Its like everyone telling me its not raining when I can see it and feel it and my clothes are wet.

It's all good though, it would just be nice to try and stick to talking about details of the company rather than wasting finger power trying to figure out if I'm a ramper, shorter, fudder, etc. The reality is, if I was any if those things my posts would still have zero effect on the shareprice just like they do now.

We could issue 100mil shares at around £10 each but I don't know of anything that will get us there. I would also be long gone by then so wouldn't matter too much to me.

Please remember that each 100mw of mining machines will cist around 120 million dollars.

So 800 mw is will be around 960 million dollars or said another way 0.98 billion dollars.

That is substantially more than our whole market cap, it can't be done with 100 million shares at anywhere near todays price.

It's not impossible over a long period but I don't think we will ever see 800mw of our own machines in Helios.

So, I know the sec date is to be believed but what's this 18th Oct date for the quiet period ending.

Supposed to be 40 days as normal but I don't know if there are caveats or early endings or what not.

Can anyone shed any light on it, when does the quiet period officially end and is it a staged ending in some fashion?

I'm seeing conflicting dates for the quiet period, such as brokers can issue valuations and assessment from Monday but the company can't release promotional or non sec filed news until the 11 nov

Anyone got anything definitive on it?

Ahhh that's interesting I'll look later thanks, sounds like similar figures being used as I would of been looking at things when btc was around $40k, so that always gives me a little more confidence if it can be calcated in a couple of ways (assuming they havnt just done a chuz).

I've maintained for a long time 230p it's time for me to get out but if there's mainia at the time and it looks like it has legs then 300p might be my exit.. I will then wait for the enevitble fund raise and get back in after that.. Of course come the time, fomo will probably get me again like it did on the IPO (my figures were smack on but I lost my bottle just incase I missed out on the a rise)

I look forwards to digging out that report later just for confirmation bias if nothing else ha
