Btc up 45% in a few weeks, arb down a few percent over the same time.. Talk about backing the wrong horse ha.. What happened to the leveraged play

The other week I was trying to explain thata low btc price would be quite benificial to us due to 'others' turning off. Of course the reverse is true.

To be honest, no one's posts are productive at the minute, it's just doom and gloom or people saying things are OK.

Theres no new news to discuss, we've had the IPO, we had the run up on btc, we've had the operational update... We've talked it all to death, there's just dissapointment and fortitude across the board.

At 114p on the nasdaq, should be another dross Monday.. I'm gotto admit I'm getting close to dumping my whole holding and sticking it in Hut, Mara or ANY.

Then maybe buy back in quarters and years time when it's set to move.

I'm sure he doesn't at all, like when it's said we all know it will go up eventually... What most think that the market cap will increase, that doesn't mean the share price has to increase too.

What's good for the company is not always good for existing share holders.

One things for sure there is more interest with other nasdaq miners than us... Come back. Lse all is forgiven, at least we had a USP when we were just single listed haha.

All well and good but if it has zero or negative affect on the share price I don't see the benifit.

Elon musk could of bought in but if the share price has gone down its kinda irrelevant, all the funds buying is supposed to be good news but the share price falls.

I think all it means is that PIs can now be rinsed of thier money by professional investors.

What sort of EH do you think we will need to achieve 5-6£ based on btc at 50k?

I worked it out a while back as averages and it was roughly 1 billion $ market cap to 1 exohash ( not sure if that still stacks up). So for me, to get to 5£ we will need 5EH, we have 1.7 eh funded + deposit down.

At 3.7 eh fully funded and operational I value the company at £4 per share. That's without an increase ein debt or share dilution to pay for the equipment and its by the end of next year.

How do you see us getting to £5 for a top slice?

If you sat in a meeting and complained that currency conversion was missing and extra one or two decimal places, there would be a polite silence, a few wry smiles, or outright laughter, depending on your status.

Thats not quite true, where I work the currencey conversion is mandatory (gbp to eur) and it needs to be accurate for when it gets multiplied up (I. E. Savings stated per hour multiples by 100,000 hours)

We can follow btc down a percent but we can't follow it up anywhere near 35%

Yes it is, live price is 115p bid / 120p buy... And yes it is a steaming pile.

The US don't seem to want to touch is because there are better miners listed on the nasdaq.

The IPO was at a pretty large discount which has knocked investor confidence. So There is a stock that has hammered shareholders who on paper just arnt as good as its rivals. Our growth plan regarding machines at the moment is weak, we plan 3.7 pe by the end of next year, whereas the likes of mara plan 13 eh by mid year.

We are not the only carbon negative miner. BTC has done a 35% increase in a few weeks and we have gone down.

What is left to move the share price?

Please don't give me all the nonsense about quarter's and years either as with that mentality there is no point investing now, might as well wait a few quarters or years for things to pick up.

We are funded for texas but that's not particully new (could of use the 100m loan)

We don't know how we are going to pay for machines in texas to get us to 3.7 eh by the end of next year.

How is it not a bit rubbish, please tell me what there is to like over one of the other established miners?

The only reason I now havn't sold is because even with what I've put above I do think the company is undervalued, but believe me as soon as it hits my target price I am out because we will get smashed again to pay for the other rigs.

What's to like.

I would imagine the board would be completely dead if there was no talk about shareprice to btc price as there's nothing else to discuss :)

The shareprice might not be following btc up but I bet the share price drops on the btc retrace.

Ive seen plenty of buyouts at around +30% of the last month average price which would make ours awful.

All depends what's being looked at, with the spread at 120p - 130p earlier my account was live price was saying we were between. - 0.08% and +3.69% depending on the value of trade that had just gone through.

Either way its junk with btc at 54.5k ish

Right now it's 120/125p.

Basically rubbish considering the btc rise from a couple of weeks ago.

The nasdaq investors were not lining up to buy this, the funds have not pushed the price up, there are more preferable miners to buy than this listed on the nasdaq.

In hindsight it was probably better to stay on the lse and atleast have the uniqueness of being the only London listed miner. The share issue could of happend and we would of been recovering better I think.

Be careful what you wish for there, I've been on the receiving end of a few buyouts and it has been bad.

Let's say they pay a 30% premium to share price for the buyout... 160p.. Alot.. Of people would be mighty annoyed at that. 50% premium... 187p still alot of holders way about that as an average.

It's quite frustrating that btc has gone up from 40 - 54k so around a +35% increase and we have gone up a couple of percent. It's supposed to be a bit of a leveraged play owning arb I stead of btc.

We would of done soo much better owning btc than this over the past few weeks.. Shame really
