I think it's just the ridiculousness of it, btc at 50k and us at 117p. It doesn't seem to matter what the price of btc is we are just not moving.

If btc can go up 20% and we lose a few percent or stay static then what is the point in 'investing' in the company.

The nasdaq was a complete damp squib, there is no interest because there is bigger and better to invest in where you can get a return.

Let's hope for the amazing update that gets it moving because this is just dull.

I get the sentiment though :) the issue is when you make a long reaching decision that may affect others who have no control or say over it.. It better be a good one.

My aunt had one of the big brick phones, weighed a tonne, I swear it holstered into a lead acid battery. It just about worked but wasnt exactly mobile as we would see it now.

I've contemplated selling half and buying half of nasdaq shares. That way if it tanks due to an external factor atleast i could react. Whereas right now if ammegeddon strikes after close on lse I just have to watch it plummet knowing that lse will just open at the adjusted price so I have no way of reacting in time.

The issue is.. If you would of bought one of those massive phones it would of stopped you buying one of these little green screen phones, then you wouldn't of been able. To play 8 bit snake.

Whilst my money is here it's just dwindling away when it could be elsewhere.

Ironically, I sold out of Shell to buy here, I held it.for.ages and hardly made a profit... Since going all in here Shell has gone up 20%.. All about the opportunities.

I get bored quite easily with stagnant share prices, I get bored even quicker with constantly falling share prices.

Last week or so we were at 125p with btc at 41k, now we are at 115p with btc at 47k, it's not investing, its just taking a beating.

Maybe tomorrow we will get an op update that is amazing amd makes it rocket, thing is we had a decent rns last week and the market flushed it straight down the toilet.

Even if your right and we have somehow managed to fund 600mw of mining kit, why invest now and not in 2023?
As recently shown the existing shareholders get smashed about so why take the risk now.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still holding and maybe in the false belief that the market has the company wrong but I'm holding nonetheless with 100% invested.

It's just a bit of a rubbish investment for the past 6 months

It's early days yet but joining the nasdaq clearly hasn't been the up lifter that we were expecting, to the contrary it's acting a lead weight.

Don't forget we need to pay the execs big money and bonuses because we want to 'hire the best'.

Just gets boring again when BTC moves and we dont react except for retracing when it does.

Early days but so far I'm not impressed, looks like it's really not of interest to the US. Maybe we had delusions of grandeur and put too much worth on being green. Money talks and that means hash rates not comittiees and retrospective spending of money to be pretend-green.

I think that's the only reason, the instability just wouldn't be worth it. For me geothermal is the way to go as it's pretty constant unlike solar and wind. I wish I had solar panels with the feed in tarrif I could of made that work.

I keep trying to invent (in my head only) differnt ways of monetising it, the best solution is the heat reuse.

It's an interesting idea, the killer is the UK electric costs, if there was a way around it then it could grow into more than a hobby.

The thing I can see working is making small heaters out of gpus so it doesn't need to make a killing it would just needs to lower the costs of heating.

Depends what you mean by not successful.

I think you are completely missing the mark with what will happen when ETH goes POS.

The immense hashing power of ETH is bigger than all of the other coins joined together. If the miners stayed plugged in then this hashing power moving to other coins will make the difficulty sky rocket. There won't be anything like the profit to be made compared to today.

There are enty of atciles explaining it and how the miners will make around 85% less revenue. For most that will make them unprofitable, I have a feeling it will take me out.

Just based on the math it's not worth invest anything into Alts just yet. There will be a huge.influx.of hashrate which will mess up everything.

Of course, as miners drop out due to it not being profitable then the difficulty will adjust and an equilibrium established its anyone's guess how long that will take though as it depends what humans do.

I'm not buying any more gpu kit until the dust has settled.

Just from some random news site but it looks like they Will be focusing on alt coins with the latest machine, which is a gamble because it may well all collapse and be uneconomical if ETH hasrate moves to alts.

Obviously of alts hold up and are profitable then game on.. I'll be buying more cards too and making them into electric radiators.

Unfortunatly nothing is truly predictable I'm just not sure now is the right time for branching out into alts with ETH going.

Hopefully ETH 2 will get delayed :)

In December ETH moves to ETH 2.0 and that is proof if stake, that means no mining any more for ETH, not harder but literally no mining.

That will have a knock on effect to all the other alt coins as some of the eth hashrate will get turned off but others like myself will try to pick the next best coin. I'm expecting atleast a 20% profit drop, maybe more, it may now even be uneconomical at 20p pkwh electricity.

I hope the focus for new machines is on BTC and not junk tokens.

It tends to follow it up a small amount but then follows it down the whole amount..

I don't think it's panned out as any of us expected.. Its disappointing to say the least but just have to wait and hope the market accepts Argo.
