sorry to repeat my previous post to some extent but i do agree that delisting is the most likely outcome.just my opinion of course no supporting facts or knowledge but based merely on what has happened to other companies in difficulty where the same personalities have been involved

no problem with that approach at all Urraca.i have done it myself on occasion.the extra element here which would put me off is the suggestion of fraud not yet of course established.i would be worried that the full picture mightn't come out for a very long time.that said if you do decide to give it a try good luck.i also hope the long term outlook improves for the sake of existing pi holders

Urraca far be it from me to try and influence you but personally i would not be tempted at any price .far too much uncertainty in my opinion.phrases involving the word "bargepole" spring to mind.this is just my opinion and you will of course make up your own mind as and when more facts are know.if it turns out to be the investment opportunity of a lifetime i apologise in advance

agree that being taken private is a strong possibility.it is what happened i believe with belgo.havent checked so don't quote me but i think that is correct.im assuming the financial problems are manageable but we don't yet know of course.all in my opinion only

agree with all you say lignum vitae.in a way the ticker (CAKE) sums it up for me.slightly clever but pretentious in the extreme.personally i have always felt that the cakes were very attractive looking but failed to deliver on taste with a very synthetic taste and texture .just my opinion of course as they are obviously very popular.however with great respect to other posters i am doubtful whether popularity of product will be sufficient in itself to secure a viable future here.until the full extent of the problems and the reasons for them are known(if they ever are) i fail to see how anyone could contemplate investing in the company except as a pure punt .its just a complete unknown at the moment and as other posters have already said this whole business casts doubt on the previous figures so without reliable independent clarification of the financial position including recent years too much uncertainty exists to justify the risk of investing.all just my opinion of course.

yes completely agree.i am hoping for positive news shortly and regard the relatively stable performance of last few days as indicating investor confidence.

not enough information yet in the public domain for anyone to form a sensible opinion as to where this is all going imho.seems they had to press on with placing and loan as a matter of urgency but would not seem to have been enough time to undertake any detailed analysis as to what has happened .my opinion only

suggestion over on advfn that this will be taken private in due course.just an opinion of course but personally would think it quite likely assuming the company survives that is which has to be in in doubt.very sorry for all pis here

add Belgo to the list .it did not end well for private investors on aim.remember placings are taken up by participants for many reasons not necessarily connected to their views on future recovery prospects or value

personally would have thought 525p more likely.just my opinion no hard facts to support but the relative resilience shown yesterday and good performance today seems to indicate a more positive market view

i cannot believe that anyone in their right mind would put further money into this .read the runs.they have no real idea what the true position is except that it is very very bad.no advice intended and my opinion only

agree .personally think the s/p has held up well.as a generalisation assets perceived as risky tend to be the first and most severely affected in spells of market negativity so the absence of any significant selling and modest s/p decline is i think a positive indication

on advfn the suggestion seems to be disappointment at a time scale quoted in a podcast today.i haven't seen it and can provide no details so may not help much but it does seem it may be vrs specific.apologies if wrong

good afternoon bignose.agreed.. out of interest do they ascribe the buy /sell labels in the same way there as here on aim and main markets i.e. just allocated automatically according to relation to mid price at time of dialect?only reason i ask is 4buys 20 sells and 2 non ams(?) today so would have expected fall if correct allocation.not particularly important one way or the other but just interested thanks

thank you for posting the link.i thought waite sounded more than usually enthusiastic (i know he's supposed to but his response seemed to me fairly animated).what comes across very forcibly is the very strong investment case i realise they didn't touch on any negatives but i think the point about current low market cap only requiring relatively modest sales (not necessarily blockbuster level) to justify significant rerating (my phrasing not podcasts) makes it so difficult to understand the apparent lack of market enthusiasm.i am expecting this to change.aimo
