completely agree .there was a an indicative buy just before 1pm of £10000. since then to time of posting there have been12trades. 2 indicative sells both small and 10 indicative buys totalling about £16000 (haven't added it up exactly but you get the picture)

yes I'm expecting to move back up to circa 500p before results.next move will depend on results themselves

fair comment in a way.but to use your analogy for me its a bit like going into a sweet shop knowing i don't like sweets generally but in the hope that i will find one or two varieties which appeal.there are several posters on here who clearly have a much greater knowledge of the company and its technology than i do and it is to hear their views that i follow the board.i should have added to my previous post that i remain confident in the companys prospect and expect a significant s/p improvement on the next news

agree with that.sophos tends to be fairly volatile generally i believe so negative sentiment tends to get magnified.im still not aware of any sophos specific reason for such a significant fall so would attribute it to over magnification of poor general market sentiment i may be completely wrong of course just my opinion.

the lack of news is really beginning to worry me coupled as it is with the ever dropping s/p.no reply to bignose re commencement of usa trial.why not?i cannot really see confidentiality or commercial sensitivity as issues here although they could be i suppose. after all there is a big notice on site saying recruitment hasn't started so what would be sensitive about saying it has started.only conclusion to my mind is that recruitment hasn't even started and there is some problem.no news on hk and macau a very bad sign as it sounded as though things were fairly straightforward(a word to be used with extreme caution in the regent context) and fairly imminent.fund raising early next year pretty much certain now unless some major positive development which i am not expecting.sorry to be so negative and hope i am wrong plus if we lose the tax case next march that won't be good .if we win then it could boost the s/p but it won't produce cash in practice so fund raising probably would still be required

we just don't know.i think it has been suggested a few times that local hk investors will not be interested until here is some form of dividend(or at least i suppose the potential for one)but I've no idea if this is true or not.certainly the hk volume is minuscule normally. even today which was higher than on most days recently it was only 4m shares about £112000 so quite modest.the hope is that when the product becomes available in hk and macau(hopefully very soon)local interest will pick up but only time will tell

completely agree with your comments about a bear market generally.its beginning to look a little grim out there so anything with the significant upside potential like this has to be in the frame.incidentally does anyone else think the indicative sell for£49.32k timed at10.16.29 at 1 22p must have been a buy based on price?you can never be sure but it looks like it.not majorly significant either way but it is one of the more sizeable trades recently

Interesting.Dont use twitter myself (too old to embrace the medium)but great use was made by the CEO and others at VRS which certainly didn't harm the s/p, quite the opposite!

very good point about side effects.they can be potentially so off-putting as to prevent people even trying medicines etc which would otherwise help them sorry if I'm just stating the obvious but i do agree with you that its a big selling point potentially if only we can get that initial traction

no bought back in see post of a couple of days ago.still think this companys prospects are good but cannot stand the mindless and misleading ramping.i am not and have never pretended to be a committed lth as all companies prospects and value for money are constantly changing and need to be kept under review.my opinion only

i agree with both you and bunion we are passing the time in a way(glad you didn't include"decades" in your list as i might have given up hope) but if things do work out then perhaps the sight of the phrase"bargain of the century" and the word "regent" appearing in the same post will not constitue quite the oxymoron which it first appears.let us hope so
