yes surprised by extent of initial drop and still looks very overdone.no one was expecting good results and although not good the update on the face of it looks to be in line with poor expectation but not disastrously so.i decided to sell on friday after all as felt more chance of fall on update than rise (luck not judgement) so will be considering re entry when dust has settled

agree with all that i had the same impression.not impressed by overly cocky ceos.pride and a fall and all that.of course you want positivity and confidence but it has to be coupled with a realistic and measured approach

reference my last post is there in fact some new wording re possible commercial partner in china?has the phrase "including in respect of a possible submission by plethora for a new investigated new drug application to chinas food and drug administration" appeared before? i couldn't see it in last update but might have missed it .the wording does sound a bit different but not sure quite what it means or if it is significant

yes good to have some positive news that something we were expecting has actually happened albeit with the usual extended timeline etc.agree with bignose re leak but interestingly the volume today although much higher that usual was still not huge.so perhaps the leak did not reach that many people or the news is regarded as not that significant.will be interesting to see if the rise continues tomorrow or whether the almost 10% rise today will have absorbed its impact.disappointing that the same wording is still being used re chinese marketing etc but i am moving slightly from my position of scepticism re possible stakebuilding /buyout to thinking that it may just be conceivable as each step forward however small and protracted adds to the overall substance of the business.priobably deluding myself but who knows.aimo

i would agree with that.i think it is holding up well in todays market.level 2 has actually strengthened slightly although as usual on very low volume.

not sure if i am looking at correct rules but if so each 1% increase over initial 3%notification requirement has to be notified by shareholder to company asap and in any event within 2 trading days of acquisition.MTFB then has to notify the market by the end of the 3rd trading day after receiving notification from the shareholder.so if holding increased on thursday last we might not hear until next thursday although in practice would expect it sooner.apologies if i have got this wrong

for those who haven't seen it might be worth looking at yesterdays post at 17.56 on MTFB board suggesting prudential may have increased stake in MTFB from 5.1%to 6.6% towards end of last week.i do not have access to bloomberg so cannot comment but if correct (and i am certainly not suggesting it isn't) then potentially goodish news for those invested here.if correct would expect RNS monday or tuesday morning.

partly out of frustration partly out of boredom and partly out of anger at continuing lack of news i have today emailed sheena at finsbury re apparent non start of FDA trial etc.i do not expect for a moment to get any substantive reply and i know that others who have gone down this route have simply been referred to previous announcements or back to jamie but it really is getting beyond the pale that no update has been provided regarding events that have been forecast to take place and time scales given.i will obviously give details of any reply received

you may well be right day trader but to me it does look more like a sell order.if it was simply control i would expect a more random nature of quantity.only my opinion and I'm probably wrong.certainly hope your bid theory is correct.time will tell

yes certainly tempted to buy some more at this price but may wait to see if spread narrows a little.no problem getting buy and sell quotes for quite substantial amounts so hoping it may just be a matter of waiting for this particular sell order to be worked through.aimo

hello and thanks for that.sadly I'm in at an average of about £4.60.was tempted to top up at sub £4 but as I'm already quite heavily invested here decided against.agree the question for me is do i ride it out till results day or not.wiil decide over weekend i expect
