applegarth the news from these articles really is very encouraging.one can sense a pivotal point beginning in relation to the waste to energy technology.i shall not pretend to understand the technology(not my forte) but the concept is very exciting.imo.

bignose im afraid you are going to be right.i hadn't thought of that.i know the hk market is open but as you suggest it will probably be very quiet.hope to be proved wrong.

just on a point of detail.i see that one poster has suggested that we do not have a nomad and therefore no RNS can currently be released.this is incorrect.we still have the existing nomad and will do so until the 1st feb unless as is expected a replacement is appointed before that date.there is no current bar to an RNS being issued at any time.also in all the 167 posts today no one so far as i can see has made any reference to the recent rise in s/p of ebioss.i realise ebioss has retreated quite a bit from the recent highs but it is still up considerably.it may have no connection at all to todays rise for eqtec but surprised no speculation on that as there is no other recent news.possibly more to do with publicity re the waste to energy sector generally although i personally do not think this would account for such a single day rise. my guess (no more than that)is either a leak or something do with ebioss

i meant to include in my last post that it would be very interesting to see if the news today has stimulated any positive local (hk etc ) comment.probably far to soon to see any but if any posters with access to local coverage over the weekend spot anything i am sure they will share. apologies if i am displaying the over eagerness of a small child just before christmas but it is that time of year!

MR its certainly an interesting thought that the terms of hk etc licence vis a vis china my indicate a belief that the regulatory clearance can be obtained more quickly .to my layman's eye the terms of china do look more favourable than todays details but this may be nothing more than a reflection of the widely differing potential markets.your sugested possibility is also entirely possible and if correct would i think give a very significant boost to the s/p on clearance.whatever the true position i think we all feel (well almost all) that sentiment is improving significantly and i would be surprised if there was not some reasonably positive market response on monday as todays news will raise our investor profile there(i hope)

wasn't expecting to post again before christmas but having returned from the horrors of pre christmas supermarket shopping i see we have a new licence.not had a chance to digest fully so don't shoot me down as this is just my initial reaction.whilst its very good news in principle of course and part of the incremental process which i mentioned a while ago,is anyone else feeling a little underwhelmed by the actual terms?i realise that in population terms the area is probably quite small but while i felt the china licence was on pretty favourable terms this one seems less so.also cannot get my head around the rationale behind having reduced royalties if a generic competitor enters the market in certain circumstances.i expect it makes perfect sense but i just cannot see it at moment.just my opinion and would be very interested to see other views as always

i know i have posted on this before so apologies if i am repeating my self but although i agree that in a sense this tax case is far removed from the main issue of fortacins successful marketing continued rollout etc i actually think that in present circumstances it is quite an important issue.the potential liability with interest up to 2/7/18 was in excess of £10m so by the hearing date it may well be getting on for £11m.if our market cap were say £150m then it would truly be a minor side issue but with our current m/c of approx £66m it potentially represents approximately a 6th of our market cap.if we lose i would expect this to result in a significant hit to the s/p.even if we reached a time to pay agreement (which is perfectly possible but by no means certain) i would expect the market largely to ignore that attenuating factor and simply to look at the bottom line liability i may well be wrong but markets seem to me usually to place the most negative interpretion on bad news at least as an initial reaction.the fact that regent have made no provision in the accounts for the potential liability does surprise me.no doubt in accounting terms they are perfectly justified in making no allowance if they have the appropriate advice that they are not liable but i do wonder whether that approach i so justifiable in terms of presenting an accurate assessment of the companys financial position .all litigation carries risk and i am puzzled why no allowance whatsoever was made in the years following the revenues initial determination.perhaps the companys financial poison would have militated strongly against any provision being made if it could be technically avoided.i realise this is water under the bridge as it were and we are where we are but if we do lose i think it may have a greater impact than it is currently being given credit for.i sense from the way the situation is presented by regent that a significant degree of intransigence probably exists between the parties and although a compromise as mentioned by montezumarevenge is perfectly possible my guess is that it will go to trial.only a guess of course and could be completely wrong but i for one am awaiting the outcome with great interest.i do of course hope that our m/c shoots up over the next couple of months (not impossible by any means) so that i can forget about it but for the moment the 13thmarch and the following few days are potentially quite significant for me.apologies for the prolixity of this post.its just the way i write

the weighting on level 2 has changed significantly this morning from being heavily weighted in favour of the ask to now being weighted in favour of the bid.encouraging move.

agree with that entirely ArgyllJumper.no criticism of your comments intended.

obviously correct argyll jumper in terms of immediate s/p impact but it still feels better to know that our major shareholder's market value has improved significantly.even if the improvement just reflects relief based on loan finance and is based on 12 month lows of a few days ago it still indicates the ebioss is regarded as more financially attractive and sound than a few days ago which must i am sure reduce the risk of forced selling by them for short term finance.whether it goes any further than this we cannot say at the moment.just my opinion

personally i think its patients we are going to need and in very large numbers.

investor1111 no one has said that the sp will rise. it may do or it my not.what is indisputable is that there has been a very significant increase in the sp of abioss which holds 37.5%of eqtec.we simply have to wait and see what happens but i did find king shotts suggestion that it may provide eqtec with additional business interesting and compelling.

the rise in ebioss"s share price may have no significance at all for eqtec but as it is still he owner of 37.5% of eqtecs share capital the fact that its s/p has increased over 220% in approximately 5 trading days does seem to me to at least raise the question as to whether it does have any significance for eqtec.it may well be entirely due to the financing agreement alluded to by king shott and if so its significance would probably be no more than the reduction of pressure on ebioss to sell any part of its holding for short term finance my apologies if there is other information by way of rns or similar in the public domain which i am not aware of as my knowledge of eqtecs history over the earlier part of this year is less than it should be. and i am entirely happy to be contradicted or provided with greater insight from others
