agree wth those who feel placing is unlikely.cant be sure of course but it doesn't have the feel of that situation to me and it would certainly negate the gore options.i have always been puzzled by the terms of the gore options.the strike price (17/18p?) was so far above the s/p at the time.thats not unusual in itself but when coupled with the very short timescale of the end of year makes the terms look very odd/exacting.either it was some form of promotional window dressing or there was/is a very real expectation that events would occur to give s/p a massive boost.hope the latter is the case.gla

stew200 id be inclined to agree with tht.its all just speculation but on balance I'm inclined to the view that the longer the process the better the end result is likely to be as it wouldd suggest significant interest from more than one party which requires time to evaluate and to let the competition between interested parties develop.could be completely wrong of course.

interesting posts offler.i assume that although you are on a free carry here you nevertheless must feel that there is at least some potential for a reasonable upside from here,despite the disappointments of the past and the apparent lack of a significant SM profile. as someone from the older generation i don't really know much about social media but i imagine given the right trigger this is an area where the profile can increase very rapidly.hopefully events over the next few months will provide this trigger,but no certainty of course.

well i would certainly accept that if we get good results and/or a positive update re FSP then the s/p will move up and my expectations of bid price would increase.fingers crossed!

frustration at the time the FSP is taking to conclude is perfectly understandable (and to be fair it is more evident on the ADVFN board than here) so it may be helpful to those with concerns in that area to take a look at the ameriseur board (AMER).they have been in a FSP since 19th july (ours started on 29th july) and they issued an update yesterday stating they expected to complete the process in 4th Q 2019.now I'm not suggesting we will follow the same pattern here as ameriseur is a completely differnt company in a very different set of circumstances but it does help a little i think to demonstrate that this is a complex and probably lengthy process designed to tease out the best possible offer (hopefully) rather than to get the quickest one.my own expectations based on current s/p are relatively modest but I'm hoping to be proved wrong some time in next 2/3 months.

bignose i certainly don't want to rain on your parade and i hope I'm wrong but my understanding of the 23rd aug announcement was that we were only getting loans of $6.35 m net,as abony and others were not going ahead.i looked at it as just about enough to keep the lights on and pay the aussie tax which was extended to 31st aug.i hope I'm wrong and happy to be corrected if so.no formal confirmation that aussie tax has been paid but i am assuming it has as a further postponement should have been formally announced.as to a lowball offer i agree that the agreement of mellon etc would be required but my concern would be that they might just think it was the only way to get out of this mess.i suppose at the end of the day it all comes down to the view they take of the ultimate prospects for fortacin if it gets FDA approval etc and china licensing.if they are convinced its really going to be a success then they will hold out, but if not?time will tell
