These Membranes produce electricity.. How ?. The PEM consists of, like a battery, an Anode, and a Cathode, A gas, typically h2, is forced through the membrane, nowadays, at near normal Temperatures and pressures. The H2 atoms 'splits', The 'newly' formed protons, migrate to the Cathode ( negative) side of the Membrane, and there is a reverse flow of Electrons to the Anode ( positive) . side. You will remember that 'electrical current' is electron flow . Air ( Oxygen) reacts with Protons at the Cathode side of the membrane, forming water, which is expelled. These are the @fool Cells' that Musk said will never power transport. because these Membranes are expensive to produce, they are very expensive, and we have seen prices of $50k+ for FC powered cars. However, Chinese BYD are manufacturing FC cars for less than 20K. This is one small reason why Trump has huge tariffs on car imports. The Chinese lead the World in FC and Battery technology, including the best solution for cars, Solid State Batteries. (SSB)

Apart from the fact that the MO of PHE now is not H2 production, but Syngas production, I fail to see why a FC Technology 'expert' is head of R and D at PHE. Ok, the customer prospects may want a H2 mfr plant, for whatever reason, but, I was formerly one of the main devotees of Fc for car power units, but now believe that is the market for SSB. Trains, Buses, Ships, light Aircraft, HGVs should still be the main goal for HFC. But, as I have said many times on this forum, and others, that These markets will buy their 'energy' requirement ( H2) in Bulk, like they all do now. But, there are of course, valid arguments to mfr H2 'on site', and remove H2 transport problems. Ships, foe eg;, would have sailing weights of a 100 tons + of H2 for FC power. How 'big' can a DMG be built.? The cost of H2 will be critical. So, Rand D Director, get the Bridgend doing, what should have done pre- CMD, and give us facts and figures on Syngas and H2 production from various feedstocks, and the cost of production. As has already been mentioned, the MC of PHE for a 47sp is simply 4.5b x £0.47 = £2.2b. ( a FTSE250 co.). on a P/E of say 15:1, this would require revenue of c£175M pa. Paul was ( note the past tense oh dear, since no updates have been given for many years) talking in terms of £1/s m pa Licensing fee for a DMG. So, that level of revenue would require there to be 350 DMG units being Licensed. That is a figure that should be achievable, over 5 years,( I would not like to be drinking whatever the Analyst , who says in 12 months sp will be 47p)), if DMG does what it says on the tine, and there is an active, competent management team. That is the Big Question. Time to move on Paul methinks.

Like most on here, I await the arrival of a 'blue' dot on the RNS , but one with meaningful news, not one about how much work the PDMRs are doing on Patents. Patents are great, when they bring in orders. As far as anyone on here knows,( or TG ), PHE have no new enquiries. H2 Utopia, NationalH2, are old, and do not qualify as 'new'. We held our breath in excitement on the 'deal' with Avioss on supplying Syngas for SAF. The PHE 'new' website fails to mention Avioss, and 'rejoices' in the 2 old favourites of NatH2, Oz, and H2 Utopia, Ballymena NI, Really. Avioss website fails to mention PHE, but doeas mention a collaboration with A n other for supply of Syngas. Well done Paul. This is the main, and only reason why the sp is now in this low, unchartered territory.
