I have air to water heat pumps and the heat pump can cool water down to 4-5°c

Mitsubishi don’t allow the reverse valve function in the uk, not quite sure why, but they do allow it in Europe and the r was t of the world.

It is just a dip switch setting that needs to be altered.

Other air to water heat pump manufacturers allow it in the UK.

Lots of people who have embraced solar, batteries etc have A2A heat pumps

They are making money from heating and running their homes.

Most heat pumps have a reverse valve and if you have compatible radiators they can cool rooms down as the heat pump can push cold water around your radiators in the same way a refrigerator works.

I have just fitted Jaga strada radiators.

90% less water needed so flow is better.

All the radiators have a heat exchanger and hybrid fan.

It’s nonsense that heat pumps don’t work, prices are dropping and usage is increasing.

I keep on hearing how if you don’t have a new build property then heat pumps don’t work. Our house is almost 100 years old and we had no problem even when it was -10c this winter.

Our electric bill was 25% of our estimated gas usage.

I haven’t even factored in EV usage.

There is a lot of scaremongering in the media about heat pumps, no doubt from engineers who want to service antiquated gas boilers or can’t be bothered to re-train.

Lol so you expect BHP to yield 5% when you can stick your cash in NS&I and get 6.2% and zero risk, well you can’t because you’re broke from all your gambling.

I agree you haven’t been ramptastic like red ramper and fortissimo, who are obviously investing more than they can afford to lose, hence the bullish posts no matter what the news is but when you see a decent discovery up the road and the sp drops then you have to wonder do companies just want to avoid Ecuador or do they just want squeeze explorers as much as they can.

Bob isn’t wrong when he says high risk high reward, but that risk has increased substantially in the past 12 months for a variety of reasons and the reward isn’t looking quite as rosy.

I suspect most on here would take BHPs initial investment price today for an easy exit.
