Unfortunately this company has been good at 2 things since it started. Raising money only to use it all up and then need raise some more while SP just keeps dropping, giving a life style choice for directors paid for by disappointed share holders.

The jam tomorrow seems a very long way off and getting further, so far no one can see it any more.

The US reaction is purely about trading the share, buy on rumour sell on fact.

Could also be a play by the shorters to try to stop DEC going back into the FTSE250 which will cost them dear.

Unfortunately not but I have been following the information on the wind downs but no recent news, Just topped API at 61.5p as there is a 1p dividend, no stamp duty and sell out value has been agreed at 64p, this should occur on 29 November. Looking to buy into AERS, RESI and ADIG on dips but being held back as I have a lot of money in BCPT which will not be paid until 29 November and also some in API. ASLI has also become tempting for a top up as price has gone down and they are at the start of the wind down process. Very temped to put more if not all free cash into API for a quick return then used these funds returned to add to the others. With the lack of confidence in the UK and the London market there are too many choices on trusts being wound down and take overs of cheap companies, my DS Smith takeover is almost finished and looking at Equals Group but been a bit too slow and missed the recent jump in the SP.

Biden does did not want to produce more gas and he certainly did not want to export it, he put a ban on new LNG terminals restricting exports, this was said to be some sort of ESG policy and Democrats started probes into Gas producers Asset Retirement Obligations (AROs) i.e. cost of capping old wells which is a huge issue in the US for the greens.

However the export restrictions did reduce Henry Hub and other gas prices and gave an oversupply in the US which I guess is what he was after, cheaper energy costs at the time of the election. However this is just a short term reduction as a number of gas producers have either gone bankrupt or mothballed the gas wells.

In the future Trump will go for drill baby drill, no doubt remove the LNG terminal ban and remove ESG policies, ARO investigations holding back Oil and Gas companies. There will be a lot more gas produced as this comes as by product of Oil wells so even if the price of gas is low it does not affect this side of gas production. The question for me is Trump going to limit Oil coming out of Iran, this will benefit the US as it will hold the price of Oil up and as the US will be a net exporter a win win, also this will restrict the money Iran has to support terrorism and other anti west causes, again anther win. Also Trump wants to build a lot more gas electricity power stations. No matter how you look at this a lot more US electricity will come from gas at a cheaper price and unfortunately gas electricity production is not good for battery storage. We can only hope a lot of this is already priced into the SP.

Labours NI increase and increased employment protection will lead to more off shoring, more automation and less UK jobs and Capita will/must follow this trend especially as the NI increases disproportionally effect the lower paid/part time workers.

If this government cannot get a trade deal with America there will be even more unemployment. Now what was it that David Lammy, Angela Rayner, Kier Stammer, Ed Miliband, Wes Streeting, Seqid Karn said about Trump and which party sent 100 activist to champagne against Trump and have been accused of foreign interference in US elections. Labour has had as much success with these activists as everything else they do as they lost to Trump in all states where they were champagning but they did manage to p1ss him off , looks like Labour is as successful in the US as they are in the UK. It has taken a time but IAG is doing a good job of recovering well from the damage the Government did to this company due to lock down but not happy with that the Labour government wanted to add more pain with increase in passenger duty. Perhaps one day I will break even on my shares which were doing well before lock down.

Would have preferred Buy Back cash to be used to reduce debt while yield is so low as it saves more in interest than dividends. Otherwise great results.

Trump is keen to put a stop to Iran so less money for terrorism, less help for Russia and US benefits as higher price for Oil exports. May even calm the Middle East, Saudi could help with cuts to support the US as they are fed up with Iran.

I don't mean AROs will be forgotten but no more political lead investigations hanging over DEC like the sword of damocles which is one of the reasons the SP is flying.

Hopefully that is the last we will hear from the Gruesome Twosome for a time. SP up, will re-enter the FTSE250 and AROs kicked into the long grass for at least the next 4 years especially now republicans control congress and senate.

For gas LNG terminals will be given the green light so more exported , less green energy produced as subsidies removed and more energy used in the US by industry which will be boosted by lower taxes, import duties and industrial jobs brought back from abroad.

If Keir Stammer wants the UK to benefit from a good relationship with Trump he must get rid of David Lamb(menatble), apologise for sending 100 Labour activists to campagna for Kamala and start an investigation on why this happened under his watch.

If he cannot get a trade deal we are in trouble as Trump will be putting tariffs on imports, if no trade this will be due to his/labour actions and for the good of the country he should resign, no chance. You can also add in Sadiq Khan among many other to the list of Labour politicians actively harming the UKs relation with the USA which will cost this country dear.

Power will need to be found for the Amazon data centre and others, Nuclear is prime choice because it can give the steady output required at decent cost and no issues with greens on CO2 etc. This is no more than a temporary setback used by the Uranium buyers to push Spot prices down but not affecting term prices, as term prices rise (which they are) sooner or latter Spot will follow.

We can also add over 1% to the £ DEC price due to increase in $, SP flying, shorts in trouble.

Now Trump back the odds on Shell, BP, Harbour delisting from the UK in favour of NY has just increased, Woodside already off. With this current government would not be surprised if a number of other companies soon follow.

The time for SQL diversifying out of the UK is well overdue.

That's the AROs issue gone for the next 4 years at least and the block on Gas Exporting Terminals over soon, lets see how DEC responds, would not like to be short.
