NeilH You are spot on about Bosch capital losses. Numbers below
Bosch Purchased Price Β£ Value
25/09/2018 5,973,660 1.5080 9,008,279
13/03/2020 11,888,070 3.2000 38,041,824
13/03/2020 18,253,660 3.2000 58,411,712
17/03/2021 3,649,150 10.6000 38,680,990
Total/Avg Price 33,790,880 4.00 135,134,526
Disposal Shares Price Β£ Value Β£ Losses
07/07/2025 6,394,765 0.94 6,011,079 19,562,494
Balance 27,396,115 0.94 25,752,348 83,808,605
Total capital loss at 94p/share Β£103,371,099
And of course add to that:
1) Set-up license and support costs paid to Ceres
3) Operating costs 2018-2025
3) Closure and write- off costs for factory of 200 people
Total that lot must be in the order of Β£60-100m.
THis strategic error has cost Bosch a medium-sized fortune. As Ceres was paid for all its services, Ceres 'losses' are limited to unrealised licence fees from units that will never be sold.
