Maybe dave .... but I've cleared a couple of stocks at breakeven from friday and jumped in here as of a few minutes ago ... still have to wait until tomorrow for the bonds to clear ... but hey ho off to work we go.

There was the 600p .... bonds clear tomorrow ... fingers crossed we stay low.

I do love a good sell off. Bought some bond funds, cleared yesterday waiting for a sell off and blow me down, happens at the end of the week on the back of US tantrums. Downside, is Nat Gad futures falling off a cliff but have to keep fingers crossed ther is no rally before this sell off settles down.

Spike late yesterday suggests a rally in on .....

Wirecard Story? I’ll look it up. We might expect a small retrace in anticipation of interest rate decision this week as nerves set in.

Cleared a load at 668 a week or so ago, back in for some 640-626 … but still have an eye on 600p … as we move into August and September.

Cleared some more NESF this morning - Just have profits left in this share.

Indeed … nice boost today … took profits on the rally after GE bought in the morning cleared at 83p plus some more …. Just profits left now …. Good year on this share making up for a shocking March-July 2023.

With an obviously negative day given China, US and Taiwan .... sell on open buy back an hour or so later usually makes a few quid on ex dividend day.

I like instability.

Planning for growth can include temporary hiccups from maintenance.

I'm hoping for a retrace down - we will see - if it doesn't happen, there are always other stocks willing to oblige.

Harmony cancelled its dividend the last time I looked. So in the case of Harmony, there would be no dividend for food, for thoughts.

The 25% lump sum return from the SIPP when activated effectively means all tax not paid is returned money going into the ISA is taxed … so the optimal method is to load up the SIPP to the max for 25% return giving £267,000 to feed into ISA tax free.

So I’m afraid the strategy touted is not a good one.

US Nat Gas prices are heading for late summer lows so this takes share prices down, also.

The new shares are sold above NAV …. So of benefit to the value of the fund. The money is then invested in the fund securities. Selling above NAV buying below NAV what’s not to like?

Agreed baldmark ... dissapointing GSF didn't break back into the 70s over the past month, where one can only assume that the dividend cut was being priced in going forwards.

The other BESS companies in the UK have seen stellar shareprice gains since their earlier profit warnings where many have stuck with GSF because it still paid a divi ... and I bailed GRID to my cost rotating to here instead.

Still ... 1p divi each 1/4 plus 3p at year end is what I'm expecting here .... so 6p with a 10% yield gives a target price around 60p so I've bailed those bought this morning for a couple of pence profit and looking for lower over the next 3 days.

We will see.

I dunno ... I bailed a bunch 67.5-68 the past week .. happy to buy back 63-64p.
