I had a whinge to LSE about the loss in NAV releases ... but I've been out here since Trump got elected .... NAV down to 215 looks high to me trading at 225 .... so I'll hope for a closer diffeerential going forwards.

There may be delays … who onows, but as thing stand the credits are due is my reading.

Section 2 of the order deals primarily with climate change mitigation policies and electric vehicle mandates and makes no mention of tax credits (in fact, tax credits are not mentioned anywhere in the entire order).

Based on a plain reading, it would appear energy tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act fall outside the scope of the executive order as currently drafted.“

Was the best I could find .... whilst too much drivel is too much to read ... people accusing others of being dim whilst misquoting themselves ... earns a filter from me .... life is too short.

Hedge funds collectively goup with smaller subsiduaries working in unison to keep below the 0.5% threshold from my observations .. I picked it up quite a few years ago with Marshall-Wace shorting via its London branch and buying via its Asian branch with Vedanta as far I could see and sent a complaint into the regulatory body.

The whole sector has been hammered .... so not just GSF ... whilst the short-term uncertainty as we all know is the tax credit announcement.

$60 million adding to the bottom line will add a nice premium IMO.

As I posted a few weeks ago … this is a Trump led market … one Trump Tweet can add 20% to stocks in a sector hammered by what is in effect Trump market manipulation. The sector is down, UK plays are down.

One has to filter out poker play and hedge fund bluff from value. That’s hard to do when sentiment is negative.

... tax credits are due, are still being traded in US, and as GSF noted a few months back, Trump stalling the Green boom has the potential to reduce competition for GSF.

The whole renewable sector is down post Trump & with UK woes ... so a big opportunity or bust.

Every share transaction has a buyer versus seller ... and nothing about "trust" but more about understanding. Actual shares trades accross MMs, buyers versus sellers instructing MMs and retail investors are carefully guarded by MMs ... only they know the underlying positions retail investors do not.

C'mon ... a politician declaring an Energy Emergency for oil&gas on a drill baby drill campaign, with near record US production in 2024, whilst complaining about an EU trade deficit with demands that the EU buy more US Oil&Gas to compensate is either a total idiot, believes his electorate are total idiots, or both.

Trump's nose is out of joint - and he's trying to straighten it whilst lining his own pockets as President.

No dounbt some nervousness about the LA wildfires .... I was going to ask investor relations to put out a calming note .. but today works fine .... took me a while to find the location of Big Rock 1 but seems well out of the way.

NESF have made a point of rolling out subsidy free solar assets the past few years according to their literature as far back as 2019:

The UK problems boil down to switching over to Nautural Gas at peak demand times rather than battery storage systems whilst paying renewable energy firms for power wasted - a legacy of the previous government.

This sector got hammered post Trump win .... this is stock market poker play as far as I can see ... so I'm happy rotating across a bombed out sector.

Trump is already distancing himself from Musk on the back of claims Musk is the de facto President .... Populism and infighting go hand in hand and will be amplified this time around with Trump appointments ... looking forward to the 4p end of year dividend myself..... ;)

The UK in all its wisdom has effectively paid renewable energy companies to waste energy during peak supply times to switch over to natural gas when demand is high - the problem is beinmg dealt with slowly looking at more recent results.

"A spending Bill backed by Donald Trump failed in the US House of Representatives on Thursday as dozens of Republicans defied the president-elect." ..... Republicans will not want net zero policies wound down in downtown hometown.

The phrase cashless cow springs to my mind.
