From my reading, businesses have two options each year to submit ITC claims, so it's not a question of simply finsihing the job and submitting a claim. I may be wrong - happy to be corrected.

NAVs are hard to calculate .... bear in mind any sale of those assets under stress would even the current market likely command a discount exceeding 30% as demonstrated by DGI9 recent woes, but on the other hand HEIT is trading at 64p on a potential buyout for assets valued at 88p ... that may or may not work through .... 20p from here would be happy bunny time for me ....

.... but topped up at 47.16 this morning from sales at 49p a few weeks ago .. so happy to trade and accumulate for now.

This time last year I was trading NESF at around 72-73p so minus the 8p dividend means the share has pretty much gone sideways ... was heavily into this share this time last year with an average hold around 81p ... currently have 30% fewer shares in the portfolio with average hold down to 57.5p today so the effective return on money invested is around 14% ...

... reckon there is 10% to be added when UK bonds rise over the short-term ... Labour's NI rise may not be popular with business, but I see it as no different to USA obliging employers funding healthcare for employees whilst increasing layoffs to enhance worker efficiencies and curb wage growth demands that has been a source of UK inflation these past two years.

Another 10% to be added when Trump finally moves over to applaud renewables under pressure from Republican states that have benefitted from Biden's push to net zero .... and the hedge funds close their shorts in the sector.

Second time around I better understand Trump and his ramblings .... a jumped up market stall trader at best. When Trump insisted NATO members contribute 2% of GDP to national security in 2019 .. what was Trump actually saying? "Buy more US weapons." If Trump demands NATO invests in more military hardware, who will raise an eyebrow with interest? Russia and China.

for the uk, we have high cost high risk fossil fuel assets, especially with fracking, tremours and pollution of the water table, whilst relying upon whom for additional energy needs? canada/russia for uranium, usa, saudi etc for lng andoil?

it makes sense for uk to boost renewables if the uk wants self sufficiency in energy - but equally, thought is sp****. solar panels for example should be dual use ... housing + panels or faming + panels .... here uk is short.

This share can get volatile over ex dividend dates ... was hit by a hedgie around 4.20pm yesterday ... presumably getting the nod from the Reform Party announcement today on renewables. Looks to me as though we will start to get direct political influence on market sentiment as we see in the USA with Trump and saw over Brexit. Very volatile times ahead if I'm right.

Seems to me that Reform Party are taking a leaf out of the Trump manipulate the market playbook.

The UK is/was the costliest producer of fossil fuels, with high risk as we learned from the Hurricane Energy debacle, coupled with small land space meaning that pollution and quakes are a risk from fracking. As such, UK will be dependent on fossil fuel imports making Trump happy.

The UK won’t look good if Reform Party get anywhere near the keys to number 10 … but not much surprises me with the sham lies that are a part of modern day politics.

I bought some back today at 223.5 with the NAV difference closing ....

.... so up 5% elsewhere buying back 0.5% down here taking into account dividend works for me.

Risks are taken .. some win, others lose ... prediction is hard ... hindsight is easy.

AT trades are accurate by definition since there is no delay - but only reflects a sample of the market and when sapread are wide as is the case with SEIT --- of little value. "O" trades can be delayed and are estimates .. the MM keeps this information for himself.

But bear in mind every share transaction has a buyer and a seller so the idea of buy versus sell is pretty meaningless anyway.

Agreed the sell-off is breaking ... but will lows be re-tested? Who knows. I doubled up 70p-62p .. cleared cash today so 8% more shares than post ex dividend date in November . Moved 2/3 intp PMGR and SEIT evenly split whilst dripping back into HFEL that I sold out of to buy in here.

Bailed here 106p in August 2024 back in 85p … minus 4p dividend so 17p for the better. Thanks Trump.
