Not massive but bigger than usual of late. Of interest is the price of 7.94 yet they've narrowed the bid/offer to 7.94/8. Probably means nout but results in the morning anyone?! If I say it each day this week, I'm bound to get it right once! (provided they were right in their last RNS and still on target to release this month)

I notice there were a few of them the other day as well. Some people believe it's MM signals but I've no idea. It can't be individual traders as they'd make a loss once you factor in dealing costs but they must have some 'purpose' but I'm afraid it's out of my knowledge sphere!

Yep, I'm quite happy it consolidating around here. Gives the 15-16p traders an opportunity to pocket a decent profit and moves the shares into more sticky hands, ready for the next move up. That move should come, irrespective of POG, with news on a number of fronts including closing the Barrick deal (hopefully any day now). Atb

Or (more likely), he is bored/too much time on his hands and he is posting just to get a rise out of everyone. Don't fall into the trap (oh, I just did!) of responding as that enables him to achieve his aim

Was looking decent this morning at 128 and then cut to 122 at a stroke.

I knew I should've doubled up earlier this month when they dipped a smidge under 40. Doh!

To be fair, I don't think which way you lean politically should be a determinant factor in whether to hold shares in Shanta! ;)

Well it's all about perception versus reality. Any day now for results (hopefully) and the market will have a bit more information to work with. I want to see the Directors, once out of the closed period, make SERIOUS share purchases to show that they truly do believe in the company and that the current SP is a 'nonsense'. This must be the only company I've ever invested in where I hold more shares than most of the Directors! Here's to an onwards and upwards SP trajectory from here on in and at least back to double figures in short order! atb

Looks like it's having a look at 8p. Has sentiment changed? too early to tell but it's nice to see it moving up from the 'boring' 7's!

Yes, an opportunistic bid now would be a 'rug puller' just as SHG are about to start delivering materially on the SP. It's about time we found out who is behind these large buys (I'm presuming it's just one entity). No point worrying about it though as us 'small fry' can only ride the coat tales and hope we don't get mugged!
