Yep, I was just musing on Friday that with a ratio of share trades of 27/2 on Friday (with the 27 coming after 3:08pm) that perhaps results we're on the way. The detail in the results, whilst still interesting, is not the primary thing for me. For me, with the company coming out of a long closed period, I'm curious to see what additional information will be forthcoming in the next few weeks and also, will any of the BoD back up their words (ie the SP is 'nonesense') with deeds (ie make some significant director purchases). Not long to wait as we're only 18 days from the end of July.

You can trade well inside the spread though. They'll currently take your shares off you for 14.59p. No thanks, more to come here imo

So much for my theory on Friday. Wide spread today and whilst they are offering to buy a decent amount of my shares, they're not offering many for me to buy. Real prices quoted are 7.12 to sell, 7.74 to buy. I'm expecting a tick up or reduction in the spread. C'mon AK, don't keep us in suspense, we've waited long enough!

Interesting that there were only 2 trades prior to 3:08pm today then 27 from 3:08pm through to close. Results Monday anyone?

Sustainable Capital have sold a load more, RNS just out. Doesn't seem to be harming the price so clearly someone's happy to take them hence the heavy volume we've been seeing. Question is, who?

The main point I took from publication of the 2019 accounts is that it will free up the company from (in AK's words) having been 'bounced' from one closed period straight into another. His inference was we will see more news after the results than we've seen for some time. Hopefully he'll be true to his word and hopefully it'll be positive news. My take is that barring an absolute disaster, how much lower than the MCAP here go?! It's certainly not been the investment I'd hoped for when I first invested in 2016/17, but there's nowt I can do about it now except await better (or god forbid, worse) times. You can currently buy & sell bang on 14p for reasonable volume. Are they hoping to mask some big purchases to make them look like sales? Any ideas welcome

Odey's sale was the day before on 23/6/2020. Did the MMs' walk the price up on the 24th to move them on at a nice little profit? ah well, someone bought them anyway and the amount sold, particularly Odey's sale, was for a small amount. It'll be interesting to see if they offload anymore in the next few sessions. Price looking ok today, keeping it's head above 12p. Looking forward to the Q2 numbers. That's enough screen work for me today so everyone have a great weekend!

Are you serious DP? Agadem has put time and effort into trying to find out how things are progressing with the company by picking up the phone and emailing etc. Have you bothered? I certainly haven't and it's more than decent of Agadem to update this forum with his conversations/communications. Agadem is merely passing on his findings, which is not misleading in any way, shape or form. If I were you, I'd re-think your post and offer an apology but it's a free world!

No worries. Clearly something is holding the price in this range so it could be as you suggest. CFO Luke Leslie is presenting next Thursday evening at a Proactive forum so possibly news prior to that if he's got something interesting to say either that or it will just be a snapshot of where they're upto and what's lined up etc. We'll soon know as only 6 days away and 6 days closer to 'mid year'. I wouldn't be surprised to see that particular timeline slip with all that's going on in the world at the moment.

The RNS about the deal issued in February shows the Barrick share issue price has already been set (in italics below. It's was on page 5 of the RNS dated 10/2/20:

'The Consideration Shares shall be issued at the Shanta Gold 30-day VWAP for the period up to 7 February 2020 of 10.4977 pence per share. These 54,650,211 shares Barrick will receive in Shanta Gold, are equivalent to a pro forma interest of approximately 6.44% in the Company and will be subject to a 1 month lock-up agreement and further 11-month orderly market agreement from Completion.'

So I don't really know why the price seems to be in such a tight range for the last few weeks
