Genuine Question For Colonel Drake8 Mar 2020 09:18
Please don't take this personally, it's purely a 'curious observation'; I've read quite a few of your posts as you're across a few of the bb's where I have an interest in the company.
It's clear you're articulate and your posting style comes across as very sure of your facts and infers less of a style of 'imo' and more 'these are the facts'
That's all well and good but you then are able to do a very quick volte-face and change the narrative at a stroke. I've witnessed it first hand on a number of these bb's, such as PDL where in July you were making it sound like PDL was not understood by the market and (at it's then SP) of 22p, it would head very quickly to 30p. Within 10 days it was 10p. You kept the faith for a while longer but have now become a bear, ironically after the SP has slumped to around 2p. Being a bear at 22p would have given you greater credibility, not jumping on the band wagon once the SP was in full free fall having previously been a bull of the stock.
Getting calls wrong is part of the game, and that's not the issue, it's your presentation of opinions as fact. Whilst no-one should invest based on what they read on a BB alone, please be mindful that some may make investment decisions due to your 'posting style'. If they have, from what I've seen over the last few months, they'd have been buying at the top and selling at the bottom, a sure fire way to lose shedloads of cash! You now seem to be moving from bull to bear on Solg equally as quickly. Here's what you said around 10 days ago about SOLG (in italics below):
'SOLG has to have the hottest folio of targets and resources under their belt out of all companies on the market. They are the last one standing that the majors haven't yet taken out and that's down to NM. He's playing a blinder.'
Now you claim that:
'NM knows what he's got in the ground but he hasn't got a clue how markets work. Markets don't care for in ground resources until all the risks, funding, infrastructure, problems, politics, global demand details all get executed or passed.'
So, in 10 days, in your opinion, Mather has gone from hero to zero - your last sentence is the best though which hedgeyourbets.com would be proud of:
I nearly forgot, my question to you, why do you do it?
o can SOLG drift much much lower in this poor market backdrop?
Absolutely.
Can it rise? Absolutely... but it's going to take a 'monitised' deal to be RNS'd first.
So, in summary, in your opinion, SOLG's SP could go up or down in the future!
