I thought the fuse had been lit this morning, but it looks like the fuse was wet. Another 7 trading days before the results, one thing is for sure, I can’t see this dropping lower and if the figures are half decent we should see a 20% increase on this crazy price. GLA.

I have to say chaps, much to my displeasure, the SP is holding up rather well. The reason for that, is the City believes that the CWU is going to get a bloody nose. I would like to see a bit more balance from the CWU to drive the price into the ground, such as calling 15 strike days in January, and when it gets down to 150p I will be waiting with my bags of cash. Keep on going lads, we need more effort and antagonism to p-iss off them City Boys.

Standard payment in Industry is 28 days following month of delivery. I always remember Carillion adopting 90 days payment and we know what happened to them, believe me 90 days is not standard. Good suppliers will not entertain 90 days, cash is King, the ones who do suck it up will put an extra 5% on their margins. This does not look good.

In and out at 8% from the lows of yesterday morning, Thank you for the Times, I think she will keep going, but good old Boo will always deliver.

Looking at their accounts tonight, I have no worries with my buy today, even at 12% down. The drop was overdone, if it goes any lower they will be prime for a takeover, then the fun will really begin. GLA.

Have we reached the bottom yet? I am surprised it has dropped this much, 12% down trying to catch it, but I reckon the 36pis buy price was the bottom.

Oh dear me, I have just read the Tines article about the warehouse in Burnley, it hit the press at 5pm, it maybe a coincidence about the timing, but I am glad I did not buy at 4:29, this is going to tank tomorrow.

That said, it is a funny old business share trading. The share turn represents less than 0.1% of total called up share capital.

Am I missing something with the share? I spent two hours examining the financials for H1 2022 and FY 2021. The figures for H1 are not proportionate to the fall. The largest problem appears to be Covid absenteeism and a few snags with supply issues. Yes, cash flow has taken a hit but they are no where near critical levels of meeting covenants. Their order book is at an all time high. I missed that fall this morning, but if it revisits the year low tomorrow, I am in. It will be a short fuse as the FY figures are released on the 6th of December. If the figures are positive, definitely a 20% bounce.

Always full of vitriol this BB, remember that this share business malarchy is a binary bet, opposing views. I have been in and out of Boo for years and my bet is that the SP will see the 30’s before Christmas, why? Sentiment, it is rock bottom.

I have just watched that and it was like being teleported back to the 70’s. ‘This is like a boxing match and we are going to punch harder than them’ it is not a boxing match, it is the year, 2022. You have competition and are losing money and market share, declaring strike dates including the 23rd and 24th of December is tantamount to self-destruction. The markets liked the rhetoric from the MT today, hence the SP support, but I am glad I did not buy back in today, January looks like a good entry point, it looks like it is going to get very messy.
