57.98p is the buy price at the moment, I can’t see the point in buying now when it looks likely that the price will drop.

@Carltt: The probability of this hitting 100p is nailed on, the probability of what comes first, 59p or 100p is another matter. GLA and don’t take this share malarchy too personal. It is just a view, it is good to have balance.

@Saab: I take your point with the USA, and fixed rates, but a high interest rate environment impacts sentiment and sentiment moves stock prices. If what you say is fact, why has the price dropped 5% today? If America gets out of the bed the wrong way today, it will fall further. This is not just about 888, it is a tide with all boats falling, but those boats carrying a lot of debt will be more affected by negative sentiment. Volatility is expected and appreciated which makes the world go around , but the wipe out of Capital is another factor.. Companies that carry a lot of debt are in danger of failing.

@Simones: please take this with no malice but if you want to become a better investor you must treat brokerage notes as you you would treat used toilet paper. They are worthless and insignificant.

I sold out last week, as I believe this will drop further, not just 888 but most high debt organisations. The talk of 6% interest rates in the States and and sticky interest rates in the UK will continue to spook, I can definitely see this dropping to less than 60p.

I agree that the current SP is mental, I just looked into my accounts and I bought these at 114p in September 2020, when there were no vaccines and Covid was predicting world Armageddon. That said, I am still on the side lines waiting to jump in as I believe these will go down further. The issue now is debt and interest rates. if Nex had to pay all their liabilities tomorrow they would need fresh capitalisation, that said so would many companies. The environment of high sticky interest rates is changing the landscape, you always know that if it is going to be a red day, New will always go down. Even, at these prices, it is excellent value, but here is a high probability it will drop to the realms of my first buy at 114p. GLA.

The MM’s are holding the line, nothing to see here, 59p does surprise me.

Another I Mil cash sale showed up on the tape after hours, sold this morning at 50p. The others looking like they were bought, it looks like the MM’s maybe carrying a bit of stock. I would be surprised if this comes out the buffers above 55p.

Very strange, at 10:17, 620k cash was dumped and then another 108k cash at 10:27. Aleksanrs, CEO owns 38% of the company and Luke, COO, owns 7% followed by another 4 investment funds owning 35%. Until the TR1 comes out, could be 3 days but more likely tomorrow or Friday we will not know. If there is nothing untoward and the dump was done for instant cash, there is a killing to be made, however, the City would have been all over this today and information may have come to light towards the end of the trading day about a serious situation. We will know tomorrow morning, more importantly who bought them. Very mysterious and unusual, looks like this could be a Revb situation in the making which was a great earner for me. Don’t you just love volatility?

Extension time expired, highly unusual and points to the downside. Interesting auction tomorrow morning.

Feck me, 300m shares and at the very most 100k were rinsed through today which equates to 0.03%.

It was 12:48 hence the 5% sudden drop on the day chart.

Three transactions posted at 12:58 for 2.5m sells, which of course are buys as well. Interesting to see if any TR1’s will be in the post in the coming days. I have contacted IR’s to establish the release of the quarter update but as yet no response.

A year ago today it was 386p, if the housing sector does not collapse this will rocket, it looks undervalued to me and I bought in today. It is a bit of a crazy share, it can jump 15% for no apparent reason and go down the same. I am looking to hold until 100p, which could be tomorrow!

That is what we needed, a blue day and a good one at that. A quick trot towards 80p looks nailed on before the end of next week.

We all know in share trading that the tail wags the dog, with the actual shares traded against the allocated share capital but this share amplifies that rule! This is a well ran company, yes, aligned with house builders, but looking good value if we see a soft landing.

Nothing to see here folks, move on, just some daft MM’s causing a big of hysteria to panic the market.
