The last last dividend payment was 11p and there are normally two a year, the next one is going ex in a couple of months. Based on the SP today the the dividend yield is 43%! It is a game of risk riding the share but if you get caught at the wrong end there is still hope. I can see this pushing over a pound on Monday.

That was my reasoning for buying in, even if they cancel the matching share service after a year, they would still have to pay a dividend to all shareholders. I would be surprised if the main shareholder is going to deny themselves a dividend. At the current SP, even if I could never sell my shares, I would still be level after 3 or 4 years. I just wish I bought more on Friday.

If the Directors did a U turn, at this price, it would be a 3 bagger nailed on. On that basis, if I did have a crystal ball and knew that was going to happen, I would sell every investment I own, borrow as much as I could and buy in on Monday morning. Then retire in the sun.

I only have 5k in here as a daft punt, but if I was a shareholder yesterday and before and had a bit of Wonga in the company, I would be writing to my MP, talk show hosts, the financial press, the fecking lot. Expose and ridicule the directors, this should not be happening in 2023.

Well we will find out on Monday, I jumped in today.

If this business was all about fundamentals, all accountants would be traders. It is not that easy, it is about conviction and big b-alls. IMV if anyone buys at this price, they will be fine, I think it will break 500p and I am greedy, this has a 20% bounce in the coming days. GLA.

We are all waiting and anticipating, there are going to be some great trading opportunities here folks.

@Sirmark: That is strange, as I put a dummy quote through for 10k and it would allow me. I am not buying just yet, as I feel this will break 20 and fire a few stop losses off. It does look good value to me at these prices.

Bought another 10k’s worth towards the close. I think this is ready for a bounce.

Well done to those who brought in the lows this morning at 8:30, I suspect this will start fading with the traders selling.

I might have a punt on this tomorrow morning, the latest debacle regarding the non-disclosure of a previous director employed in the 90’s is more fuel to the fire. Get him out and watch this rocket.

I hope the ink has already dried on that white paper. The freebies for questions seems to have legs which is not doing the industry any good. The perceived toxic culture of the industry has become more potent. If BJ was still in power there would be little concern, but Sunak is fighting for survival and this could be a quick win for hearts and minds. The white paper is a big deal, as 60% of the industry profits come form 5% of gamblers and anything that impacts that 5% will be a big deal. This is not deramping chaps, just a personal opinion, I think it has further to fall. GLA.

Always been on my radar this one and it looked good value at 74p in January and now here we are 30% South of that. The only way that this has any chance of having a happy ending is a new CEO and BOD. To think that this share was trading at over 500p just five years ago. Looking good for a bounce though, if they manage to get him out.
